Watching right now, anyone know what it is? Is it a real prestige pro?
I strung for him last year and he was using a regular prestige mp. Don't know what he is using currently. Strung with isospeed at 26kg.
What Isospeed string?

It´s a TGT293.2 or is a PT57A?
Dominic Thiem seem to have switch racquet companies to Prince!
Anyone know the model he is repping?

Dominic is currently playing the Babolat Pure Strike with the new Head Speed 2015 paint job.
He will probably switch to Babolat with 2015. But there are still negotiations going on.

I talked to Babolat this week during the Tournament in Vienna, where Dominic played Haase yesterday.
I cant really tell you why it´s not a Prestige Paint Job.
But it seems that the Thiem management wants to get out most of it, moneywise.

wouldn't that be a legal issue if he played with a babolat racquet with head plastered all over the frame? i think if he was really using a babolat it would be all black.
The racket in the picture above is not a Babolat
Clearly no Pure Strike... compare the string pattern.
That would be illegal without Head's permission - see the discussions in the past where Dunlop had to cease and desist with Safin's frame because they painted it "Dunlop" without Head's permission, and how Mauresmo was able to do it when she played a Dunlop painted as a Head because Dunlop couldn't pay her, so Head got permission from Dunlop. You can't appropriate someone else's property, e.g. claim you're selling Coke while selling Pepsi, without paying damages. Different brand paintjobs is another Talk Tennis fantasy that crops up from time to time.wouldn't that be a legal issue if he played with a babolat racquet with head plastered all over the frame? i think if he was really using a babolat it would be all black.
I'm completely amazed by the intel people get not only on this thread but on most players' threads.
When I look at the pic above I too see the Graphene logo, HEAD written at the 2 o'clock position, PRO at 3 o'clock and the letters "SP" at 10 o'clock while assuming "EED" is under the bumper guard. For what it's worth, it looks like a HEAD to me. Yes a paint job can easily disguise that, but wouldn't you think it like dressing up a old Honda Civic to look like a BMW 325? Just seems wrong.
Are you so naive, Babolat or Head can set up any string pattern for a Top 40 Player. Don´t compare this racket to any retail ones out there.
Dimitrov´s string pattern is also not on any retail stick!
I hope it's not a stiff Babolat or a custom flex because a typically stiff Babolat could kill his elbow with his monster one-handed backhand.Thiem to Babolat, I guess.

But the thing is, ProStaffs tend to feel less stiff than their ratings while with most Babolat racquets it's the opposite.Even if he's playing with a Retail Pure Strike Tour (65 RA), it's still less stiffer than Fed's current stick (68 RA).
65-68 RA range stiffness is really nothing nowadays anyway, i.e. assume that it's not strung with super stiff strings and/or crazy high tensions.
