Finally got around to hitting with the Organix 10 Mid. Had it strung with Volkl classic synthetic gut 16 at 40 lb. I've been playing with it for some weeks now to give a fair assessment. Whoa where to begin on this one. First off, love the paint job of it, mostly black with some yellow and white, very cool. The shape/mould of the racquet itself is very attractive to me. Again, I'm fond of the grip shape, it's a bit more rectangular which nestles comfortably in my eastern forehand grip. The response from the racquet was very good, more so than I expected, agree with others here, it felt powerful for a mid with lots of pop. It did feel a tad firmer (not as smooth) than my PB 10 Mid but that didn't throw me off. Comfortable, superbly stable, and surprisingly forgiving; it felt more or so like a mid plus. I was enthralled with heavy hitting, exchanging powerful forehands, backhands. I think I may like it a little bit more on groundstrokes than my PB 10 Mid. Just as with the groundstrokes, it had nice pop on volleys and was stable on heavy paced shots. On serve, for me initially, it didn't come around faster than my PB 10 but I was still able to hit some heavy serves. I thoroughly enjoyed slicing with this one, as I like to slice offensively when approaching the net. While it did feel a tad firmer, it did also have some smoothness to it too. Of course with the crispiness of the synthetic gut, it has an overall crisp response. All in all, a fantastic racquet. It didn't sway me away from my PB10 Mid as overall performance wise I'd have to go with my PB.
