He is halfway there. The US Open sets up nicely for him. Wimbledon will be the toughest for him, but in a year like this one Nole will be his only big challenge. And if can beat him once, he can do it again.

Why? Just because Djokovic is the only guy he came up against in the semis and finals of the first 2 Slams?
Well done.
2/10 for real bad attempt.
It would be quite odd if any of them got there given the amount of their respective slams and given that they are both rather old and given that they have one relatively poor slam each.Who do you think is more likely to win a Slam in their least preferred conditions out of Stanimal and Andy Murray? So, Wimbledon and Roland Garros respectively.
Whichever of these has the best chance to punch through at their weakest Slam probably has the best chance of achieving the Career Slam. I think neither of them will get there.

Was this to me?Perhaps you didn't see the Wimby quaters match vs. Federer? He took the first set and lost the 2nd set via tie break. It was very tight match. Right now Stan is playing even better.
You can rest assured with big three wouldn't be thrilled to face him.
When you think of the possible draws and the 7 matches. If he gets to the quarters who exactly is going to beat him?

I'm not touting Stan as the favorite there, but having to take out hot red Feli Lopez THE DAY BEFORE certainly didn't help his cause in the quarter against Fed. Stan ran out of gas after the first set bombing of his countryman. I would also venture to say that he CAN volley and well at that... so serving and hitting that big, who would want to play him at Wimby? Besides, the second week has slower conditions, as we all know.
He might do that even before Djokovic and Murray (and not necessarily this year)
This place is a mad house. You all just got done predicting the future for Nadal and Novak. Now that Murray has won a slam, you're going to do the same thing for him.
This is just crazy.
hes not winning Wimbledon
Exactly. And I typed Murray in place of Wawrinka because I was absolutely sure that Murray had the 2nd best chance to win RG this year. This really
TTW and its huge collection of soothsayers with their crystal balls strikes again
And there you go again. I don't think Wawrinka is going to win W, but I'm not going to predict that he can't.hes not winning Wimbledon

Do not count Stan out of Wimby. He in fact has better volleys than Murray and Djokovic and made the quarters. I wouldn't like his chances there against Federer but I do against everyone else.
Once again The Stanimal can stalk under the radar and feed.

Stan is not a bad grass player. How many people have taken a set off of Federer on grass? Feli Lopez is himself a great grasscourt player, and he took care of him.
Never say never in sports
Let's be honest, did you think Wawrinka could win RG this year before the start of the tournament when:
1) He lost in 1st round previous year
2) Never went past QF before this year
3) Djokovic was the heavy favourite winning almost everything this year
Did you expect Cilic to win USO last year?
All I am saying everyone in the draw has some chance (however small it might be). Some has more, some has less.
Precisely.
It doesn't mean Stan is sailing to a Wimbledon title. I do believe, given the right circumstances (the draw/into the second week...his level of play) that it'd be stupid to rule it out. Didn't many rule out Novak from ever winning Wimbledon once?
Today's commentators should take a page from Laver's book. Instead of going on and on, he just sums things up.Well, well, well, I found out today that Rod Laver agrees with me. Great tennis minds think alike. My analysis was, in fact, spot on!

LAVER MARVELS AT WAWRINKA'S IMPROVING GAME
http://www.atpworldtour.com/News/Tennis/2015/06/23/Roland-Garros-Final-Laver-Reaction.aspx
Last year, Wawrinka reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals – his best performance on his 10th appearance at the All England Club. Laver sees no reason why he can’t improve upon that result.
“I think grass should be right up Wawrinka’s alley. His serve is perfect and he volleys well, so I expect him to do well at Wimbledon.”

Also, note that Stan blasted 62 aces on the French red clay, imagine that serve on grass.
And there you go again. I don't think Wawrinka is going to win W, but I'm not going to predict that he can't.
he meant it in general. He doesn't like people making steady fast predictions and claiming them to be 'the truth', see his previous post.??????????
Wimbledon is really a stretch but you never know...his best chance would still be at US and Aus Open. It would be hilarious if he did manage to complete it before Djokovic though
I think a better question would be will Stan win another slam in his career, lol.
Which is what the majority said after his Australian Open win...

I'm not saying he'll never do it, just thinking it will be hard. I would be happy if he does it, but he's so unpredictable.
