    Concernig Fischer Vacuum Pro 90

It's my racquet of choice even now. Mine are strung with Technifibre Duramix at 47 lbs(mains), 45 for crosses for complete bliss on a tennis court.

Who still uses a 10 year or older racket

I'm still using my Fischer Vacuum Pro Classic 90s, 95, Pro Classic 98 Spin, Pro 1 (320g unstring) from the 1990s. The 6-12 newer rackets I've bought/tried were all garbage in comparison to the Fischers.

    The moonballing strategy

Hilarious, see the look of disgust on Evert's face at about 52 seconds when it happens, Evert 'passed' by a moonball.

Bud Collins and "the Grand Slam"

This is a poor piece of video evidence. The video is 'jerky', doesn't even look like the frame rate is a consistent 24 frames or more a second. 'Missing'/fewer frames make everything look faster a la old Charlie Chaplin videos where people walked at running speeds.

Federer has won 12 slams in a short period of 4 years..

It's hilarious. He's quick to point out what slams Federer wouldn'thave won had Nadal been present yet he doesn't nitpick the other players Srinny listed. For a starters Laver beat a 35 year Ken Rosewall to complete the FO leg of his 1969 Calendar slam. I'm sure Ken is a very nice man but at...

At least there would have been more goals with 11 vs 6 on the pitch.

The more skilful team won in the end. I think the Dutch used the tactics most likely to gain a win for them. Rough up the opposition , disrupt the flow of play and look for a counter-attack. It almost worked although Spain also missed some chances aswell.

Did Webb referee the Bayern Munich - Inter Milan Champions League final? If so Van Bommel will know how long his leash is. Edit: Fena13 posted while I dithered so Webb did referee the match.

If Webb if everything you and Breaker say he is then the situation improves for Holland because now they'd be able to do hard and clean tackles with less risk of being sent off which would have been the danger if some third rate/inexperienced referee been chosen for the final.

The Dutch will need to make it a physical contest. The danger however is the risk of being given the yellow or red card when they start flying in with the tackles. If either one is sent off they concede control of the midfield and effectively the match.

FIFA WORLD CUP: The best tournament in the world.

Wasn't the most exciting match to watch imo but the more talented team won in the end. Although the goal was came from a simple header off a cross. The Germans were caught sleeping Puyol was unmarked, unchallenged and had a 'free' header at the ball. Good header though lots of power.

+1. Spain had difficulty breaking down Paraguay and scoring. Germany on current form are much better at defending and attacking than Paraguay. They should beat Spain but it's football and the cliche 'anything can happen' is often true for football matches.

Based on form so far I'd give Germany the edge in the final assuming they beat Spain, I think they will on current form. Van Bommel, he's really riding his luck so far with his tackles. He could be in trouble in the final if the final's referee is strict.
