Brad Gilbert : Federer's reached his highest level in 2017

well, tbh. fed in 15 got beat by Kyrgios at Madrid, got straight-setted by Wawa at RG and had poor Shanghai/Paris results (losing to Ramos-Vinolas&Isner). even Basel, he didn't play well till the final vs Nadal. What you said applies in the stretch from Halle to USO fed's BH was fine in 14-15...

Brad Gilbert : Federer's reached his highest level in 2017

fed was a little better in 2017 compared to 2015. not enough to tip Wim 15 final level djoko, but probably enough to tip USO 15 final level djoko FH, BH significantly better in 17, mental strength/confidence clearly better in 17 serve a little better in 15, movement a little better in 15, net...

Hewitt vs Federer Highlights | ATP Finals 2002 Semi-Final | TennisTV Highlights

This is what I got: Safin was just ruthless/GOATing in the last set and half, serve, groundstrokes, return, passing shots, even excellently executed dropshots from 2-4 down in the 3rd set till the end, he had 47 winners+forced errors to just 7 UEs...

nadal wasn't bad, but wasn't playing that well in IW 17 either. 05 fed could absolutely beat similar level nadal similarly. don't forget 12 fed beat a better nadal in straights at IW in windy conditions.

a little more comfortable, but not lot more. Also hewitt would be even more comfortable in djokovic's service games than he was against 05 fed, quite a bit more in fact. 15 fed had 10 return games with BPs (total of 23 BPs), of which he converted 4. hewitt would convert atleast a couple more.

Could any Big 3 member could beat Prime Bruguera on Clay and Prime PETE on Carpet in the same season?

oh please. Sergi would have beaten Muster at RG just like he beat Courier at RG in 93-94. And Courier always beat him on clay outside of RG. 3-0 outside of RG and 0-2 at RG.

If Nadal didn't have his own era, then did he have the toughest competition? - 18 slam finals against Fedovic!

ELO is horsesh*t for tennis. the fact that you use blindly says you don't know much about tennis.

prime djoko couldn't even beat past his prime fed in Wim 12 (prime-ish fed at best) nadal beat prime fed in Wim 08, stretched him close in Wim 07 fed in Wim 14/15/19 doesn't even come remotely close to fed in 07/08. djokovic got lucky with federer being ~33 or older.

Put Sir Andrew Barron Murray in the 2003-2009 era instead of Federer, how does he do?

Agassi's draw was very easy AND he played at a high level, you absolute dunderhead. Better than Murray at any AO. I didn't pump up **** unlike your fraud self.

Stich, Agassi, Krajcek and Ivanisevic at Wimbledon

Krajicek in 96 Wimbledon also beat Stich in straight sets in the 4th round, a Stich fresh off a French open final run (upsetting the then king of clay Muster)

Could any Big 3 member could beat Prime Bruguera on Clay and Prime PETE on Carpet in the same season?

Pete served well in AO 95 QF vs Courier, AO 95 final vs Agassi and USO 95 semi vs Courier as well. I think the best fed vs bruguera/courier at their bests would be a dogfight. djoko just doesn't have the wins at RG like fed has vs 09 RG delpo and 11 RG djoko himself. So less confident in him...

I myself said Murray could win AO 06/AO 07. I only objected to statement saying Murray would clean up at the AO but disingenous hack @RF-18 straight up lied about what I said.
