Huh. In my area, those matches would have been overturned. OP, what do your local league rules say on the subject (if anything)?

Tennis shoes causing Achilles tendon pain

Asics hasn’t been much different than Adidas in my case. Resolutions caused me significant pain. Speeds were ok, but lacked cushion (obviously). However the original Court FF was a brilliant shoe - light, secure fit, very cushioned, and good ventilation. I’ve gone through 5 pair so far. Wish...

Tennis shoes causing Achilles tendon pain

I’ve had a bit of a mixed bag with Adidas. Barricade 7’s and Ubersonic 2’s were awesome for me. More recent Barricades and the new Sole Court Boosts have been an unmitigated disaster. Talk about painful. I still stand by my previous statement. Sometimes Achilles pain is a result of heel...

Try a “runners loop” to lock the heel in tighter.

Interesting message on the Pro's Pro website

Let’s see Pro’s Pro put their money where their mouth is and compare what really matters - their QC and tolerances, versus their competitors. I’m not saying they make all garbage. But IME you do get what you pay for with stringing machines, as you do with a lot of other products. And anyone who...

    Wise 2086 power supply

Funny thing is, the wife is usually the frugal one. Guess she’s rubbing off on me after all these years. :) I lent my WISE head to a club that was hosting a futures tournament. When the tournament concluded I went back to collect it. Either I mistakenly left the adapter behind then, or lost it...

Great call @Dags. I just so happen to have an account with w&d, so I ordered it there. Just a shade over $40 all told. Many thanks to all of you for your ideas and efforts to help me be a cheapskate.

    Wise 2086 power supply

Well, what few adapters I have found with the correct input/output and have the output plug I think will work all make me nervous. Either they have no reviews, or worse they have bad reviews. I could Macgyver a smaller plug on the adapter I bought. But I don’t have a soldering iron to do the job...

Well as expected, the 6.5mm plug doesn’t fit. Back to the drawing board.

The more I look at Toshiba adapters, the more I see the 15v, 5A variety all seem have the 6.5x3mm plug. I was able to order a genuine Toshiba adapter from the rain site with free one day delivery. Worst case I can return it and get something with the smaller plug if it doesn’t fit. Fingers crossed.
