What was the last movie you watched?

" Quiet Man" - a classic with the best all time fight (fists) scene in cinema history IMO.

Redhead Redemption - The Graphene Prestige MP

I just picked up a demo to try tomorrow, it has a cheap 16g syn gut at 53 lbs, so if I like this stick yet want to enlarge to sweetspot w/ more power. What would you recommend for set up string/ tension.

New Guitar Day: Martin HD-28V with video

Nice axe, I've owned quite a few Martins in the past, used to host a bluegrass Jam. Great picking btw, Tony Rice would be proud. :)

What's wrong with US tennis ?

The woman's game is in better shape, but still only six in the top fifty, and Serena the only one in the top ten. Not terrible though.

What's wrong with US tennis ?

True, but look at Connors, and Mac not exactly pillars of the community. I believe the Americans want to win just as bad , maybe it's our methods, training approach.

What's wrong with US tennis ?

I know this has been discussed ad nauseam , but in my lifetime I've always seen at least two Americans in the top ten. The last decade + there's been a big drop off - what is the problem IYO. With all due respect to the " Brits" but to get our butts kicked two years in a row is hard to fathom.

If you could meet any TW member...

J011y : Btw I made it back to NY/ Island for the Macy's day parade with three of my kids and a great vacation in 2012. My next favor is a few lessons if/when I get back to the island , drinks are on me :) Also if you ever make it to Minnesota , yea the drink thing.

New POG 107' (what, no love ?)Users opine please:

Another great attribute of this stick is no arm/elbow pain - my only struggle so far is that high hard hit balls to my bkhnd that I tend to volley long and those out of position stab shots. So far the +'s outnumber the -'s.

If you could meet any TW member...

' Jolly Roger" - he was nice enough to drive to my old neighborhood ( Oakdale, Long Island) and take and post pictures of my old neighborhood about 5 or 6 yrs ago. How many strangers would do something like that. Very few I think. thanks again.

New POG 107' (what, no love ?)Users opine please:

Played two hrs this morning with the POG & it was great, strings loosened a tad. Great plow through with this stick & I find better control. than the ' Aero Drive". Everything was a +except maybe those quick exchanges at the net. The crazy thing again is the control considering it's a 107".

Not sure dropping 3 lbs will make that drastic of a difference, I'm also only playing doubles these days.

New POG 107' (what, no love ?)Users opine please:

Maybe a softer string like sensation at 55lbs . I do have an old school game with Eastern grips, flatter strokes with a little topspin for control.

New POG 107' (what, no love ?)Users opine please:

I bought two of these from TW after I saw the sale they had, true they're the same as the last version with a new paint job. I generally play with the Aero Drive Babolat , but missed that old school feel and control that the modern sticks don't have. I had it strung at 58lbs with the cheap...
