I think this is the only year so far that neither had a great tournament nor a consistently impressive level from either Nadal or Djokovic in the slams they've won. The combination of that and the Next Gen continuation of inconsistency is why 2022 has particularly been pretty bad.

TBH though, I can easily see 6-4 and 4-6 for both AO and WI respectively and might favor that position. Fed's 14 and 15 WI performances all throughout the tournament are of course majorly underrated.
