Does anyone have a red or gray boomerang tool they don't need?

Thanks. I came across what is possibly your Youtube video, and I ended up trying the 50/50 method on a Head IGS racquetball racquet, and it worked, but those Head IGS racquets are even more of a PITA to string than the Ektelon O3 racquets. In hindsight, I wish I had purchased a stringer with a...

Does anyone have a red or gray boomerang tool they don't need?

I have a couple of Ektelon EXO3 racquets I need to string, and I don't have a table brake on my Gamma drop weight machine. I have the white and orange boomerang tools, but they don't fit properly in the EXO3 racquets, so I need the red and/or gray tools. I will pay for these if necessary. Thank you.

How to mount Wilson K-Blade racquetball racquet at the throat area?

Pic of racquet here: https://imgur.com/a/wsCyfDJ How to mount Wilson K-Blade racquetball racquet at the bottom/throat area? I have a 6-point Gamma X-6FC stringer. I've successfully strung E-Force and Ektelon o-port racquets, but this is a new challenge. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to...

Absolute 1st time stringer... what do I need to know?

I just quickly run my finger along the length of the string to feel the "bump" of every other weave.

    GSS vs. Gamma Starting Clamp

I'm having a hard time finding the GSS clamp online for some reason. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Does your club charge you for being the stringer?

Do you string AT the club? Is it your machine? If you have your own machine, do it at home and give the members your business card. There is no basis for the club to charge you "rent" in that situation. Depending on the amount of the rent, I would simply stop stringing for them.

What kind of strings are best for a racquetball racquet? Any advantage to diff string for Xs and Ms?

First racquet I ever strung was an Ektelon racquetball racquet with O-ports, no table brake, and no boomerang tool. Let that sink in... At least now I'm pretty confident I can string anything.

What kind of strings are best for a racquetball racquet? Any advantage to diff string for Xs and Ms?

I use to play a fair amount of tennis, but nowadays I mostly play racquetball (*braces for insults*). I have a Gamma X-6FC and string racquets for myself and some friends. In terms of string technology, however, I'm not very knowledgeable. What strings are typically best for racquetball...

I read in an old post that you modified your X-2 so it has a table brake. Could you provide any info on how you did that? I have an X-6FC with no table brake, and I have to string a lot of Ektelon and Head racquetball racquets. Thanks.

Absolute 1st time stringer... what do I need to know?

Sounds like you might've been better off just buying a new, lower-level dropweight, rather than buying used. I know different people have different budgets, but as a noob, I recently sprung for the Gamma X-6FC which has 6 point mounting and fixed clamps. No regrets whatsoever about the extra...

My little tip for dropweight machines: line level

Relative noob, here. Can you elaborate on the "ramp"? Thanks. Edit: Just saw your edit, but I'm still a little unclear. You are correct, though, the string stretches some between first leveling and getting ready to clamp (even if I pre-stretch). I usually give it a few more seconds until it's...

My little tip for dropweight machines: line level

Let me be clear: I understand the line level is not a perfect solution. It gives me some sense of consistency when I string, so that's why I feel "inclined" to use it. Others may like the idea too. If not, that's fine. Happy stringing.

My little tip for dropweight machines: line level

I assumed the weight of the level would be negligible and therefore overtensioning as a result of increased weight of the level would not be an issue?

My little tip for dropweight machines: line level

I have a Gamma X-6FC dropweight stringer. I'm particular, so I was frustrated with "eyeballing" the dropweight bar to determine if it was level and thus at the desired tension. My solution was to buy a cheap line level and zip-tie it to the dropweight bar. It may seem unnecessary to some, but I...
