    Yonex EZONE 2020 AO

Hell, just use the DR mold, spray on a new paintjob, add some new "tech" to it, and Yonex can see their tennis racquet sales skyrocket for the next year.

    Yonex EZONE (2018)

Agree, as most of us were expecting. But even with the new and improved look it won't convince me to go get one. Yonex go back to the DR!

How to get used to higher SwingWeight

Usually best practice is to gradually increase SW, I'd say by increments of 3-5. But as mentioned above you'll get used to it as you will be forced to adjust your technique. For a 4.5 you should have decent strokes, and probably want to really drive your shots given the opportunity. I'd say for...

    Same Swingweight, different lead placements?

Liking all three lol, thanks @bkfinch . interesting mention on twistweight's impact on maneuverability. I ended up shifting half of the weight from 3&9, cutting that by half, then putting it at 12. The new SW is very similar and specs looks like what I want but will have a go with it on Monday.

    Double post, deleted.

    Same Swingweight, different lead placements?

Thanks Irvin, I understand the part about adding weight = SW, and further away from balance point = higher SW. If I may clarify, my question is towards whether there is a difference in maneuverability between adding the same amount of SW to 3+9 compared to adding to 12.

    Same Swingweight, different lead placements?

For a given racquet, assuming I can maintain the same swingweight but can choose one of the following: - More lead at 12, less at 3+9 - More lead at 3+9, less at 12 1) Will the balance be different if swingweight stays same? 2) Which one will be objectively easier to swing and generate racquet...

    Yonex EZONE (2018)

People compare it because it is a natural potential upgrade path for any DR user, and that's what EZONE testers use as a reference point for DR98 users that are still considering or on the fence. I think everyone is free to compare any two racquets in their consideration, let alone a successor...

    Yonex EZONE (2018)

Thanks. This seems to reinforce most of TW's and TT's general consensus with the new EZONE vs DR. Definitely sticking to my DRs for the time being. @Yonex, if you created this for DR98 fans, you messed up and you're at least not getting my money until you get this sorted.

Does anybody know where I could find/buy all white circular vibration dampeners?

Go to Ama*** (uk), type in Sampras vibration dampeners. First result.

Grips: MOST are absolute crap. I can't play with anything else than Tournagrip

OP and the rest of you have convinced me to go try these out, will update how it goes. Been a long time user of Yonex Supergrap and Wilson Pro so definitely in the same alley.

    Yonex EZONE (2018)

I have a gut feeling that is the case because the avid DR98 fans are turned off by the stiffness concerns expressed by TW and TT, so not many 98 users are as keen to go try/buy it. @Yonex, why change if it ain't broke bro.

    Yonex Ezone DR CLUB!!!!~~~!!!

Interesting idea. Never imagined you can achieve that SW at sub-12oz. How many grams did you add at 11-1? And keep us updated on how it plays versus regular DR98 at same SW.
