How did Federer win the hearts of the masses?

This is a personal appreciation. Federer started getting more love from the masses when he stopped being a winning machine. I remember when I was 11-12 and playing in the club and many were "this guy wins everything, it's getting boring", a diplomatic told me that when Djok beat Fedr at AO 2008...

2021 BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) Final: Basilashvili vs Norrie

Very well deserved title for Cam Norrie, had a lot a bad luck in some finals this year, but winning a M1000 is clearly the prize for all the hardwork this year.

2021 BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) Final: Basilashvili vs Norrie

Cam Norrie just one game away to do something that not even Sir Andy did. Win Indian Wells.

2021 BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) Final: Basilashvili vs Norrie

What a comeback from Cam Norrie from 0-40 down. 3-0 in the 3rd.

2021 BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) Final: Basilashvili vs Norrie

Personally, I don't want Fedr to come back, thanks for the memories, but take care of your future. However I'm still upset with that match. For example, I don't hate Hurkacz or FAA for that matter.

I don't know too much about his case, but he beat Federer, so I hate him.

Is prime, non-injured lost gen better than next gen?

It's ironical, because after Thiem, Dimitrov is the most accoplished of the Lost Gen. And I still have several doubts in considering Domi as a Lost Genner.

    2021 WTA Indian Wells

I know it's late, but it's the first time that I watched Ons Jabeur and I fell in love with her game, such an artist.

Is prime, non-injured lost gen better than next gen?

Personally, I wouldn't consider Cilic and Delpo as Lost Genners, they're much more closely related to the Nadalovic era than the Lost Gen. Juan won the US Open in 2009 (Fedal era), and Cilic in 2014 (Djoko era) How I clasify the generations: -New Balls Please era: born 1979-1983: Federer...

How many other ATG candidates have a 3-6 Finals record at a slam on a surface they are supposed to be GOAT of?

Oh yeah, I messed up there. But Chrissie lost to Court at freaking Roland Garros that same year, which I guess it's even worse considering both styles of play. It would have been comedy if Ovrebo was making mistakes against both teams, the thing is that he only made mistakes against Chelsea.

Is "el peque" really 5'7". I highly doubt it

So we have Delpo and Peque who support Boca, and Coria and Nalbandian who support River. These are the only one who I remember.

Is "el peque" really 5'7". I highly doubt it

Never had the chance to meet Peque, but the very few players that I met, especially Nadal, he is listed as 1,85m and in 2013 I had to raise my head to ask him an autograph. I guess that since Diego is listed as 1,70m, I should be taller than him. Since I'm Chilean, I'm quite surprised by this...
