plantar fasciitis, heel bruise, or other?

I think I felt a little twinge on the left foot too, but it's really the right foot that is the problem. Right lower leg a bit too, especially when the foot bends towards knee. Taking a casual walk down a steep hill the day after the long tennis match really made the lower front of the leg ache...

plantar fasciitis, heel bruise, or other?

The basic concept is stretch your foot while you rest? Must you be asleep to best benefit from these night splints, or can one wear one for a couple of hours while watching TV and get some benefit?

plantar fasciitis, heel bruise, or other?

Did you just give me a link to the death penalty question in the Bush-Dukakis 1988 debate? Already saw that!

plantar fasciitis, heel bruise, or other?

Well, the initial damage came from tennis, and presumably walking around all day isn't helping it. But at least I should stretch it before getting out of bed, assuming I can remember to do so? I'm certainly not capable of making anything on my own, so any orthotic or splint is going to be a...

plantar fasciitis, heel bruise, or other?

You re-injure it each morning? Interesting. Why does that happen? I've ordered some new tennis shoes. I've thought about insoles or heel inserts. How does one decide on the right kind?

plantar fasciitis, heel bruise, or other?

My right heel has been sore since playing a lot of tennis 5 days ago, something I normally don't do. (Just getting back into the game.) Dull pain at times when I step on it, even occasionally at rest. Didn't bother me during a softball game on Wednesday night, though it did throb a tad...

comfortable shoes for old aching body?

We're talking about these guys, right? Only 13.2 ounces? I feel like I was wearing 15 or 16 ounce ones 12 years ago. You still use these, or only tested them? https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Wilson_Rush_Pro_30_White_Blue_Mens_Shoe/descpageMSWILSON-WMSRP3W.html

comfortable shoes for old aching body?

After not playing tennis for several years, I'm getting back into it now. I picked up a pair of Prince Advantage Lite shoes and while nice and light feeling, my body ia feeling banged up and sore in heel and shin among other areas after a long hard court match. I'm wondering if the shoe is...

    Marius :Best arm friendly racquets?

Agree with all this. I wonder if, in the end, what racket you use truly makes much difference: Maybe when TE hits you, it doesn't matter what you play with, it's going to hurt. When your elbow is feeling good it also doesn't matter what you use, you'll be fine.

    Marius :Best arm friendly racquets?

Thanks for the info, Systemic. I had done tons of research and tried many rackets about a dozen years ago, not long after I first took up tennis as an adult, played all the time, and had all sorts injuries, particularly TE and GE. I finally settled on using the Pro Kennex 5G, and Prince Warrior...

    Marius :Best arm friendly racquets?

I came across several websites that said it was indeed a factor (among several) with about 80% saying a larger head size was better for TE, and 20% saying the exact opposite.
