I strung my 93P 18x20 with VS Team 1.25 main / Yonex Poly Tour Fire 1.25 at 50/43 (10% pre-stretch on gut). Plays consistent from strung til now (20+ hours in). The only thing I don't like is the string bed is heavier and making the racquet less headlight than I would like, and I had to add...
I remember @Power Player said in addition to leather grip + overgrip, he added 2g total at 10/2, starting from 2nd cross string going upward, bringing total unstrung weight to 320g. I think that's a good spot to start.
Personally I don't like using dampeners. If I want to increase the swing weight I'd probably just use thicker gauge strings. If you don't like to mess with lead tape, then maybe another option is head guard tapes?
@Anton is referring to racquet head size. One is 98" and the other 102". Given your Prince is an Oversize frame, just be aware that there might be adjustments to your swing should you choose the 98" frame.
Good point. I guess reducing the main strings only serves to reduce static weight and swing weight. However, would skipping cross strings improve spin potential due to less cross strings to impede main strings snapback?
