    Nadal has new racquet?

The rep showed it to me yesterday. It's really ugly. He didn't mention anything about it replacing Prestige. He just said that Head has been stuck in the mid 60s flex rating world forever and needed something to compete with AeroPro and the rest of the super stiff market.

Here we have specific qualifying tournaments for those levels. Open tournaments apply to your overall ranking once you are a super, but don't help you advance to the super level. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Didn't realize they did that elsewhere. In Texas, it is Challenger, Champs, and Superchamps. Everyone that moves here is confused by it like it's some foreign concept.

    Champs? Are you from Texas?

    Longhorn Tennis

I'm a little late to reply here. We know one of the kids who left. Basically, Center was extremely rigid with practice schedules, to the point it was impacting his ability to take classes and graduate on time with a decent degree. He had to choose tennis or graduating basically.

    WISE 2086????

It's hard to say and may just be the gadget person in me. But there are some annoying things about a crank on the Revo. The dial is a little hard to read so getting it accurate is not easy. There is no memory. The best practice was to release the spring when done and that was annoying. The...

    WISE 2086????

Totally agree with Dags post above. I went 5 years with a revo 4000 crank and then got a wise. I string maybe 6 a month right now, yet the wise has been worth every penny. It's more enjoyable and I'm more confident in the results.

    Love mine!

    Thinking of buying a stringer....

Yes. The grip/neck will hit the Wise. So, if you have to go the other way. So, you have maybe 350 degrees of rotation. :-) The width of the Wise takes up some.

    Thinking of buying a stringer....

Good to know. I'm totally happy with my Alpha for the reasons stated in my post. My friend did quite a bit of research and we'll see what he thinks of his Gamma. I've never really needed a brake and when I did, the Revo brake certainly didn't hold. I'm not sure what self-centering means...

    Thinking of buying a stringer....

I updated my Revo with a Wise a few months ago after using the crank for years. I love it. It makes string much more enjoyable and it seems to be more consistent overall. You do lose 360 rotation, but that's minor. I've had the revo for awhile and recently upgrade the clamps as well to the 5...

Elizabeth is a great coach. I'm glad she said no! Go owls! The Rice women have a nice program and a brand new facility. She probably is pretty happy there. I do hope the horns get a good coach. They are my 2nd favorite team. :-)

    Mikeler's Polys

Yes, the exos can handle the high tension poly really well. I have 3 racquets with 3 diff string now: pacific xforce18, iontec black (no shears on plenty of shanks), gosen polybreak. All 18g. I suck equally on them all these days. Just no time to play. You should try xforce too. It's...

    Mikeler's Polys

Honestly, I think the variation between Spin-X and Typhoon is smaller than the variation in my day to day game. I do kind of like the red color though. I like the purple typhoon more than gray, but seriously it's probably mental. I've only ever played them in hybrids with a very soft multi...

Your welcome, then. :-) Glad you liked it. You'll want to try spin-x next. Or not. Just enjoy the purple stuff.
