Thanks but I wont be going full poly and the Instinct at 11 oz strung never gave me any issues. I would rather have the benefits of a light racquet at this point in my playing.

Played my first singles match in around 3 years last weekend with the Touch Instinct MP and the racquet did well for me. I was competitive against a mid level 4.0 and was quite happy with that for my first match back after so long. I actually was ahead in the 2nd set but ended up losing it...

of course...but realistically who can play flawlessly? my point was that power isn't really needed or even that important at the 4.0 level to win. but my instinct certainly has sufficient power when I want to add some pace.

respectfully disagree. Whoever makes less UEs will win at the 4.0 level.

Hit with the Touch Instinct MP today for about an hour. Was strung with full multi at 51 lbs. Found power level good enough. Noticed the dampened feel but didn't mind it. Thought it did a nice job of smoothing out vibrations. Overall pretty user friendly racquet. Now my game on the other...

Really? Have you tried it? I'm going full multi at 51. That should be ok, no?

Anyone try the Graphene Touch Instinct MP? The reviewers all say it's low in power, which is surprising to me since this model has always had a lot of power. Getting mine strung up today so I can test out out soon.

Haha. I still use the tennis method for picking up balls (hit the ball against your foot with the paddle). Yes I can't tell you how many good friends I have made through pickleball. To me it's not a question of tennis vs pickleball... they are BOTH fun and why not add as much fun into your...

Well I'm back to playing tennis again after a +2 year layoff. Just picked up a new Head Instinct Touch MP and signed up for a singles league at 3.5. I'm curious how I do now that I haven't played in forever. I was playing 4.0 when I last played.

You run plenty in pickleball and can get quite a workout depending on the level you play. Singles in pickleball actually required more running and cardio than singles in tennis. Go watch some Pros play singles on Youtube. It's exhausting.

None. 11 oz in a racquet is equivalent to 8 oz in a paddle. BTW...I'm playing tennis singles again.

Hey All! I googled myself and this thread came up :) I thought I would just post an update to let everyone know what's going on. About 2 years ago I tried pickleball and was immediately hooked. The social aspect of the game and the unique-ness of the game was appealing to me. It's a...
