    String weavers

Never used one, but I could see them being useful for those who string infrequently and haven't gotten very proficient at weaving. But for those who are proficient, they'd be more of a nuisance than a time saving tool. And I've actually seen some people who have become quite fast with the loop...

Prince Neos 1500 fixed clamp closing unevenly?

Cool, glad it's working out. I'm not sure why I misread that!? Makes more sense...I was kind of surprised they had replacement rails.

Prince Neos 1500 fixed clamp closing unevenly?

I was wondering the same thing. I don't have any local machinists in my Rolodex though so would have to do some searching.

Prince Neos 1500 fixed clamp closing unevenly?

Well after this thread was bumped, it inspired me to take the clamps apart again and examine things more carefully. Turns out I think one of the clamps (the main piece containing the shaft) was machined a little imperfectly. When you rest the 2nd plate of teeth onto the primary piece without all...

Prince Neos 1500 fixed clamp closing unevenly?

I think all the those clamps are 12mm which are a smaller diameter than I'm looking for. Thanks for the suggestion though. Have you gotten your glide bar rails yet?

Prince Neos 1500 fixed clamp closing unevenly?

True, but I'm not a big fan of the extra wiggly jiggly, so I prefer to get clamps with shaft diameters that are closer to spec.

Prince Neos 1500 fixed clamp closing unevenly?

I have not. The original clamps are no longer available. So if I'm to get a replacement, it's either have mismatching clamps (which I'm too OCD for) or splurge on a new pair (and Tennis Machines currently only has 1 in stock anyway). Unfortunately Prince shaft diameters are a less common size...

    Badminton clamps for tennis?

I try to live by this mantra...I have since been left confused by my own advice.

    No Lotto tennis shoes?

Yeah, those were my favorite. Even had the 6 month warranty.

    Shoe with most cushioning?

Thanks man. That rules out the Lavs for me. Guess I'll be using the old man Prince T22s and then reassess from there.

    Shoe with most cushioning?

Do the Lav V2 have the same extreme heel-to-toe drop as the V1s?

Volkl Cyclone Tour and Tier One Black Knight - best co-polys for sensitive elbows

Experience 1.23 broke super quick on me and didn't feel nearly as comfy as VCT, though it seems many people like it and think it's arm friendly.

    Costco Tennis Balls?

I've used Penn Championship Balls from Costco for a good while, with the biggest downside being they lost their bounce quickly, meaning they weren't good for even warming up the next day. But unfortunately, the last case I got sucked. Felt plenty firm so had air pressure, but bounce was worse...

Volkl Cyclone Tour and Tier One Black Knight - best co-polys for sensitive elbows

Thanks @g4driver. I used various shaped polys with synthetic gut crosses for a while until I started shredding the crosses too quickly as I progressed. In my experience, I recall twisted polys were often easier on the crosses than standard shaped polys, so I think VCT is worth a try in a hybrid.
