    Definitely get the ice machine. You will be using it ALOT. Get 4-6 of those blue re-freezable ice packs and rotate them in and out of the machine. And like I've said, work really hard on the rehab, especially when you are at home. Don't just lie around hours at a time without bending or walking or stretching!

    I wanted to thank you for your post awhile back about your TKR. I'm about to have bilateral knee replacement and your post is giving me the type of feedback I need. My game over the last 10 years has gone from a 5.0 to a 4.5, to a 4.0. I have a lot of internal motivation, but your post really gives this 64 year old something to shoot for.
    Would you consider your tennis (better) (same) (worse?

    Your welcome, glad I could help! When is your surgery scheduled? Best of luck for that too! I'm 60 now, and play without restrictions (don't tell the surgeon!). I would say my game is better now because my mobility is back and I have a stable base. Of course 5-6 years ago before my knee became a problem is another point... we ain't getting younger! But the fun is back to play pain free!
