Do you guys keep anything else in the bag with your pure storms or controls? I have a PST and a PSTGT along with an ultra tour. Just picked up a tt290 for days I want to play lazy. By far the pure storms are my go to

I feel like the problem is I’m pulling the string taut before putting the tensioner and it is then pulling to a higher tension than what I’ve set the drop weight to requiring a significantly greater force to just release the clutch so I can release. I either find the linear gripper still holding the string, or in the other scenario, it takes way too much force to release the clutch in the beginning.

I think the problem in our communication was with me using acronyms. I’m using the alpha pioneer dc plus and trying to string a pure storm tour gt. I do agree the problem is with the operation of the linear gripper and clutch.

Definitely using a starting clamp, but struggling to release the clutch, feels like it’s too tight. Any tutorial videos on apdc? I couldn’t find any when i looked through YouTube. It actually seems no matter how I do it, I find the clutch too difficult to release.

The pt2.0 is a brilliant racquet. The more I play the more I like it. My second choice racquet behind my PST. I actually find it great on everything but my OHBH, just can’t dial that in. Playing a 4.5 friend tomorrow let’s see how it goes.

Similar situation I came back to the sport after 3 years and had a 3 hr training session with the coach who taught me as a junior. I was still athletic just had changed sport preferences during those 3 years so the wrist pain led me straight to google and I gave up the racquet then. 20/20...
