Sakkari is the quintessential 21st century female tennis player

This is accurate, 0% body fat is not healthy for men, let alone women.

Roger Federer “I therefore estimate my return to competition in the summer of 2022.”

Yeah this is an excellent point. There is a reason Tom Brady is so driven to play football as long as he can and that is because he is terrified of what comes next.

Sakkari is the quintessential 21st century female tennis player

She looked outclassed and uncreative in the USO semi but I imagine it had to be hard mentally knowing everyone is rooting for the storyline of your opponent winning.

    Problem with the WTA

Not that I'm saying you're wrong, but isn't this also the case with the ATP?

too much USTA is toxic for tennis development.

This sounds like a good way to have someone give up on the sport. I can think of very few people with the patience to grind fundamentals for so many hours without ever deploying them to perform the activity itself.

Low effort trolling, you should expect better from yourself.

    grip replacement help

In case anyone is interested I ended up going with a basic smooth grip that had the desired balance between comfort and feel and a roll of Tourna gauze tape. I will test both with and without the tape and if neither arrangement is satisfactory will discard them and either try another suggestion...

Shots like these really make me miss Federer

In the second clip, why did Querrey try that weak high spinning shot down the line instead of ripping a cross court winner from the shallow position he was at?

Andy Murray booed after underarm service...

What I mean is that the act of serving is part of the gameplay of tennis while taking a toilet break is an interruption that is outside the gameplay of tennis. The tennis rules should be able to perfectly define what a legal serve is and isn't so there is no ambiguity, whereas the toilet break...

Andy Murray booed after underarm service...

Toilet breaks are an interruption of gameplay whereas the underhand serve is a part of gameplay so they are not intrinsically equivalent things. The rulebook says nothing about toilet breaks because if someone needs to go to the bathroom they need to go; it is not reasonable to ban players from...

Andy Murray booed after underarm service...

Just watched the video in op and surprised that no one has brought up his comments on the speed of the surface at IW. It sounds like he would have been furious because he thought it was meant to personally disrespect him. Maybe those players have not used it because they haven't needed to, but...

Andy Murray booed after underarm service...

“If you do it with the goal to improve your game, or like a tactical thing, I support 100 per cent,” said Nadal. “If you do for disrespect the opponent, is not a good thing." Source: https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/article/rg2020-day-4-diary-rafael-nadal-underarm-serve

First 'real' (non-club) league match today

I guess I was just trying to understand the aggressiveness of your tone. I read your explanation but did not see why that was necessary for someone who had said they finally settled on one. Agree of course that tinkering with equipment can be a dangerous rabbit hole so should be done with...
