If they finish at 20/20/20, whats then?

if the no of slams decide who goat is, then win rate is the most logical tie-breaker in case of a tie. So, Nadal (20/60) it is ...

US Open 2019 Court Speed Indication Thread

Federer does not agree. In his on court interview after the match just now, he said it plays a bit like clay and he is disappointed by it ...

Federer / Nadal and djokovic difference

Beethoven was the greatest, Mozart the ultimate genius, but none could compare to Bach :))

Three reasons why I think Nadal is currently very dangerous

What does “measuring his effort” in regard to a single stroke even mean? That Federer or Djokovic deliberately return weaker than they could? Why would they do that? At best it just draws out the game and at worst it invites defeat! Or does anybody really think Djokovic did not want to win...

Brad Gilbert declares Djokovic as the best he has even seen.

Gilbert ... if Nadal wins, he will marvel how he has never seen a warrior like him, the greatest of all time! If Federer wins, he will marvel at the unique artist that Federer is, the greatest of all time! If Nagal wins, he will marvel at how he has never seen a talent like him, one day...

If Federer hadn't come before Nadal and Djokovic, absolutely nobody would be calling him the GOAT

which is why you take it out of the equation. And therein lies the fallacy ... rewarding Djokovic for not being good enough!

If Federer hadn't come before Nadal and Djokovic, absolutely nobody would be calling him the GOAT

lol, the last two are just rewarding Djokovic for being late to the party ;)

If Federer hadn't come before Nadal and Djokovic, absolutely nobody would be calling him the GOAT

Federer and even more so Nadal might as well be better Tennis players now than 10 years ago. Does not mean, that they are necessarily harder to beat though. Find me a quote where Federer says that he moves better, has better stamina, more focus. That makes all the difference in playing a guy...

If Federer hadn't come before Nadal and Djokovic, absolutely nobody would be calling him the GOAT

Agreed, 2011 was amazing, no matter what anybody else did! It was one of those years that ATG tend to have, when everything comes together. And still, Federer could go toe to toe with him even then. I'm not favoring one over the other ... peak to peak it is a toss-up between them. It is...

If Federer hadn't come before Nadal and Djokovic, absolutely nobody would be calling him the GOAT

not as unique as you make it out to be! Might as well say the same of Nadal. He is 6:2 vs Moya, 2:0 against Ivanisevic, 2:0 against Agassi, 2:0 against Henman ;)

If Federer hadn't come before Nadal and Djokovic, absolutely nobody would be calling him the GOAT

Federer vs Djokovic FO/US 2011, after those 2 matches it should be clear to anyone that Federer would do just fine peak to peak against Djokovic! No need to overcomplicate things. The reason for Djokovic being the strongest of the big three since 2014 is clearly his superior movement since then...

    Was Agassi mentally weak?

Looking back at the rivalry of Sampras vs Agassi. Can someone explain to me why Agassi was so devastated by the one loss against Sampras at the USO 95? It is not like he was owned by Sampras back then, the H2H was 8:8 and he had beaten him at AO earlier in the year. How can one loss against...

Players with dominant H2H records over all main rivals in the 70s, 80s, 90s

Same thing with Borg by the way. If Nadal for example retires at the same age, end of 2011, he would have retired with a comfortable h2h advantage against anyone as well ...
