Found this super nice Kneissl White Star Mid. Lightweight but swings like a club. I hit against a wall for a bit and I quite like it.

Nice to see we understand each other. Haha
I good luck taming that racket addict beast.
Hmmm... I really would like another Players Special, guess it’s back to GW for me. [emoji41]

Huh. I’m not familiar with that racquet. I did pick it up and it felt good, but then I saw the PS85 and nothing else mattered. [emoji38]
Maybe I’ll check back tomorrow.

Happy hunting!
I’ve been blessed by the Pro Staff gods this week! This PS85 today and a minty PS90 BLX 5 days ago.
It’s a Christmas Miracle. [emoji1787]

Well, how about that. I’ve been looking for one of these for a very long time.
A St Vincent Pro Staff 85. JUQ under the “W” on the white butt cap. The finish is a little scuffed up and it’s pretty dirty, but there are no major gouges or dings.
The price says $6.99, but it was purple half price...
I found a PS Classic 6.1 last week for $5. It has a few chips, but it cleaned up super nice and hits even better. One of my favorite rackets of all time.
Unrelated note: I find it sad how someone would come on a Classic Tennis Racket forum and disparage classic rackets. Such a weak and obvious...
I remember for a short time there were two-time balls. Optic yellow and green...I think. Really easy to see spin on those.

The first time I hit with a 200G (Serious Goodwill score!) I was amazed. So much control. So much feel. I didn’t think I was hitting hard until my partner was suddenly a step or two too slow. I’ve since found two others (1 more from the same Goodwill, 1 from FB marketplace), and I’ll use them...
The Players Special was my racket in high school. It’s still great to hit with... that bamboo shaft delivers plenty of power, great feel and a seemingly extra small sweet spot.
I recently acquired a Donnay Borg Pro and I like it. [emoji106]

I don’t know about that particular frame, but it sounds similar to this Martina Navratilova Signature model I have...especially the cover.
Mine is also in great shape, but it might be a lower quality model because it was handcrafted in Belgium with a French White Ash Frame.

Awesome!
I’ve been hoarding classic rackets lately and love trying them out. It’s a great way to add a fun/classic spin on our favorite sport. [emoji106]
