    2020 Prostaff update

Really wanna grab one now... but I can't justify it! Maybe if one pops up used. I'd love to hear a comparison of the PS97 against the RF97 if someone happens to have both.

    Why the Outrageous Racket Prices?

Heck, the used market here is absolutely massive. Pretty much any racquet you want, there's a good chance someone has one listed.

    2019 Yonex Regna (Japanese exclusive)

I have a hard time buying new rackets. They lose so much value on the used market. I may try to get one from Japan.

I really wanna try a Regna, but it's just too pricey :(

    2020 Prostaff update

I think I may give the PS97 a try. Never played with a ProStaff before some reason. Currently using an RF97 and Yonex VCP 98+. Seems like the PS97 should fit nicely in between the two. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

My New tennis racket (RF97A black)

That's the one thing keeping me from buying these nicer paint job racquets. No paint job is safe in my hands [emoji28] Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

What overgrip is the best for sweaty hands

Late reply, but I finally got around to trying the Dunlops I ordered. U-Sweat is fantastic. Extremely good dry grip for sweat management. Doesn't last super long, about 15-20 hours is my guess, but that's good enough for me. It has a pretty consistent grippiness with rapid fall off towards the end.

    Any chess players here?

Hah that's pretty cool that you knew of Eric Hansen and Aman Hambleton. It's weird how when I was growing up, I remember seeing Hikaru on the front cover of so many chess magazines, and here he is on the forefront again. I definitely enjoy the music on Chessbrah, but their personalities are a...

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

58/52. I was always just hitting the ball out when I was using 56/52. But again, it's a poor excuse for bad technique. If I had more money, I would definitely get some lessons to learn to hit with some actual top spin instead of just crushing flat balls all the time hah. But it's more fun to...

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

I think most of the stiff feeling is really due to the Irukandji. I don't really feel that my 58/52 tension is any stiffer than when I had it at 56/52, but I did notice a good bit more control when I was hitting. Again, there are lots of people who are able to hit with good topspin and keep...

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

I think based off of what you said in the other thread, I would go lower on the poly and keep the gut higher. I found it difficult to maintain control with lower tension gut. But I also don't hit with a lot of topspin. If you have good strokes, you may be able to manage the lower tension.

I replied in the Yonex thread, but 58 gut/52 Irukandji.

Irukandji and gut? Works great. Give it a try. Extremely good durability with the shape.
