US Open Schedule: First match for seeds

They played #2 seed on Day 1 a couple years ago IIRC. Last year #1 seed played on day 1.

US Open Schedule: First match for seeds

But if he plays R16 on Monday, it would mean R3 Saturday R2 Thursday R1 *Tuesday* What am I missing? That would get Djokovic his first match on Day 1 to satisfy #1 ego as well.

US Open Schedule: First match for seeds

IS there a "rule" when the first seed/second seed would play their first match at the USO?

    Silent Partner AC Adapter

Thanks. I got a word that it is a 12V charger not to exceed 2.5A. I should be able to get that soon.

    Silent Partner AC Adapter

I managed to lose my Silent Partner Star AC Adapter used to charge the battery. Found one that fits but wanted to confirm the rating before I used it. Can someone who has it send me a picture of the AC Adapter used to charge the battery or just tell me the rating. Thanks.

    Death by Double Faults

I must say that this is the first time I looked at a thread title and incorrectly guessed it as Cindy's. I always guess her posts correctly from the titles.

Spinning racket to see who serves first

???????? So how many revolutions would make it random? Since calling is opponent's choice, for every toss, the probability of opponent winning is 0.5 as long as the person covering the racket does not know where it stopped. That is not being unfair to the opponent. I do not like my racket...

    DQ and DQ with forfeit

More so when the bigger goal is to restrict sandbagging and local section says , recruit sandbaggers, get 3 wins against good teams and then be done with him when you have nudged the other teams from moving ahead. This is especially important in this case as both the singles players of our...

    DQ and DQ with forfeit

The league coordinator referred us to this rule. Apparently a rule change for 2014. We don't know which doc this comes from. "2.04E(1) Local. If a self-rated (S) or Medical Appeal player is promoted from a particular level of play, the player shall cease play immediately from the NTRP level...

    Balls got stolen

Let it go Suresh, claim it in the tax return as a donation. Although I must commend you for resisting the temptation of somehow linking this to Federer, like calling them Federer fans or noticing the Wilson bags and rackets.

    DQ and DQ with forfeit

I am not the captain and our captain is trying to get in touch with the league coordinator. He was not informed of any of this. We found it out through our OCD of checking the team standings every day.

    DQ and DQ with forfeit

I edited my post to make it clearer. The self rated ringers were our opponents, it was my team that got beaten 2-3. Then the opponent was DQed with forfeit (by computer, I think) and we got the victory 3-2. Then again that was changed to DQ with no forfeit and we again are back to 2-3.

    DQ and DQ with forfeit

Our opponents had a singles player who was self rated get DQed with forfeit which awarded a victory to our team. Now it has been changed to DQ with no forfeit so we have lost again. What are the rules? When can you get DQ with forfeit and who can change it back like this. We plan to appeal as...

How does Nadal handle the rest of the year?

He played those last year and had a very good year. Chances are he will play those for rest of his career. He will also travel the same airlines and demand the same seat. You need to understand the player who has to compulsively walk on the Melbourne logo between the towel handing over routine.

    Lacko defeats J.Statham

That happened when he climbed up the wall at the back of the court to hit a high bouncing ball and the hot girl sitting there wanted to hold him but ripped off his shirt instead. After landing on court, he shrugged it off, flexed his muscles, gave a very angry stare towards his opponent (close...
