If I were a big string breaker I'd probably do the same. It takes me a while to saw through the gut mains so I think it's worth it. The poly loses tension faster so I restring the crosses once every other string job. I also try to find the best deals I can on gut. Just got 3 packs of Luxilon gut...
I'm a hybrid guy, so not sure if this will help. Right now I'm liking Klip Legend 17g mains @ 60 lbs and Yonex PTF crosses at 58 lbs. Its a little tight at first, but feels great after the initial break in period.
I'm really starting to fall in love with my VCore 95. My only issue with it is some lack of stability at net. Anybody experimented with adding lead tape? I'm thinking a little a 3 & 9 but don't want to add too much swingweight.
Wilson could easily fix QC issues if they wanted to. But if people keep paying top dollar for bad QC they're never gonna fix it. There are plenty of things made in China with tight tolerances, but it costs more to do.
