    In praise of Kevlar/ZX hybrid!!!

Hi, I’m interested in trying this setup. I’m currently using monogut zx full bed at 45 lbs. I like the feel but looking for a little more spin and control. Could someone recommend me suitable tensions for the mains and crosses? Thanks in advance.

Does Angell typically have sales on the day of GS finals?

The most comfortable racket you've played with?

Aside from woods, I’d go with Fischer Vacuum Pro 90.

    Wilson PS85 discussion thread...

It’s not as harsh, either. I use SV’s but wouldn’t mind picking up a Chinese one to mess around with.

    Poly in a Max 200G?

It might depend on how hard you hit the ball, but I wouldn’t put polys in my 200g’s as they are prone to spooning towards the hoop. I only string mine with soft strings (full bed gut or gut/synthetic) and never above 45 lbs.

Bought a Rossignol F-200 Carbon today (no pics yet)

That’s funny, the same exact thing happened with mine. Luckily, it flew right into the net and no harm was done. I brought it to shop and all they did was place double sided tape onto the pin and shove the pallet back on. The fit was really snug with the tape on the pallet, so I’m pretty...

    Klip Legend/Cream hybrid

I hadn't used poly in a couple of years due to shoulder problems (couldn't even tolerate it in a gut hybrid) but decided to string one of my prestiges with a full bed of Cream at 35 lbs. I've played 4 sets so far and haven't felt much discomfort at all. I usually play with full bed gut, but I'm...

Which do you think would generate more sales, custom ps85's or a Fed edition?

Love the idea. Just wish I could get a custom PS85.

Pro Staff Classic 95 16x18 grommets

No problem, Chet. Glad it worked for you. Sandpaper is a great idea if you don't have a set of grommet grinders.

Pro Staff Classic 95 16x18 grommets

    I don't recall exactly, but I think it was 6-8 holes around 2, 5, 7 and 10 o'clock.

Pro Staff Classic 95 16x18 grommets

No secret, just use a grommet grinder to carefully enlarge the hole until you can get the grommet to fit. If you don't have access to one, I'd recommend just bringing your racquet to a shop.
