    3.5 to 4.5 doubles points

I play 7.0 and 8.0 doubles. I feel that the unforced errors, double faults, poor service returns happen much more frequently at the lower levels, whereas with higher levels it’s just the opposite. The majority of the points are won by stunning returns of serves, winners and serves. Regardless...

    Best knee brace/support out there...

Try MAVA knee sleeves. You can get them on Amazon. I’ve been using them for over a year now. Excellent compression, support and also keeps your knee joint warm and stable.

What is/was your Most Favorite String Ever?

I’m experimenting with hybrid set ups. Luxilon Natural Gut and Luxilon Savage. I also like Tourna Big Hitter Blue Rough as a less expensive alternative.

Are you happy with your tennis level?

I’m strong 4.0 player, but there is ALWAYS room for improvement and growth. I will most likely always be a student of this game. If you love this game, we should all strive better to tennis players.

Why do tour pros blow so many easy shots?

I take issue with that statement. I think they make more easy shots than they miss. A break or lapse in concentration can happen to ANYONE on the tennis court. I’m a 4.0 player and during a doubles match several put away volleys and overheads that I executed with precision. During that same...

Is aiming the shot at your opponent body considered disrespectful?

If you come to the net then you should expect whatever your opponent sends at you. Now with that being said, if you have an opportunity to hit an overhead, swing volley, etc and there is plenty of open court and you aim at your opponent. That to me is bad sportsmanship.

    Wilson Clash BAG

    I’m honestly a little disappointed they didn’t make a 12 racquet bag.

WTA week of 6/17; Birmingham & Mallorca

Congrats to Ash Barty! Even though Jule didn’t get the win, I’m still very happy and proud of how she played. Hopefully this is a prelude to how she’ll do in Wimbledon.

    Official Wilson Clash thread

The weight is the same so I would say the power is equal. I think the feel might be a touch better on the 98, the beam is thinner and the head is smaller. I think finding the right string set up (for yourself) is the key to having success with the Clash.

    Official Wilson Clash thread

The Clash 98 peaked my interest, but I’m going to stay with my Tour. I’m having way too much fun with it. I’m also enjoying experimenting with different types of strings and string setups.

2019 WTA French Open - General Discussion

I’m a self admitted Nike-a-holic so generally most stuff that they put out, I buy. It’s not necessarily because a certain pro is wearing it. I liked last year’s US Open kits and the last AO kits. This year I passed on the French Open kits. I did buy Rafa’s limited edition Cage 3. I liked the...

    Slinger tennis ball machine

As of now EVERYONE still waiting. They (the creators and team) said it would ship in July. Realistically speaking, I don’t see that happening. Despite the EXTREME delay and reduction in speed, I’m going to wait it out. If it works like it’s supposed to, it would be still be an option when you...

    Julia Goerges Apprecation Thread

So it seems Jules has ended her coaching relationship with Michael Gesser and is now working with Sebastian Sachs. She has not been doing so well in the last few tournaments. Injuries have also been a factor I know that sometimes it’s takes new energy to revitalize a player. I hope this change...
