    Yeah, he was a monster when he wanted to be. I remember a beatdown in Davis Cup to Luiz Mattar from Brazil. That day was a masterclass of tennis, and Luiz was unable to do a single thing. One memorable day for us peruvians. Now we dont have a single good player

    I watched the end of his match against Sampras, he finished with a backhand return winner, 7-5 in the fifth. Nice Davis cup like atmosphere. Yzaga was solid mentally, despite choking at 5-3 and 30-0 on serve.
