Serve Toss and Tossing Arm Positioning

Great instructional videos on tossing! I have struggled with my toss for many years but will focus more on these fundamentals noted in these videos!

    Synthetic Gut vs. MultiFilament ?

I totally agree! I tried Velocity and found it to play too soft! The durability is also terrible. I broke a set in 4 hours of play where the Gosen lasts at least double that time and the playability is much better!

    Synthetic Gut vs. MultiFilament ?

Totally agree! I have been using Gosen OG Sheep for over 25 years! It’s truly one if not the best inexpensive synthetic gut on the market! $44.00 for a 660ft reel!! I no longer play with poly due to shoulder issues! Gosen is an arm saver, soft and very comfy!

    Best tennis balls to use?

The new Dunlop balls are very user and arm friendly. The playability with the Dunlop ATP Championship is a lot better than the Penn Championship ball. The durability is also decent and of course the price is big selling point. My arm has felt a lot better since I switched to Dunlop balls.

    What level are these players?

Yeah, tennis347 and I were saying the same thing about the guy in the black The guy who is the 3.5-4.0 has more of pusher style. This style will only get you a certain level which is in the area of 4.0. There are exceptions. The guy in the gray is clearly the better player and a solid 4.0...

    2019 Wilson Blade

I have been playing with the 16 x 19 version for a month and I have to tell you that my ground strokes have been getting more consistent because you have to more creative with this racquet. I find that hitting up the middle eventually gets me short ball or an opening to hit a winner. Patience...

    Frame for elbow pain

The new Wilson Blade line is extremely arm friendly with the low flex rating!! I have a shoulder problems for years and have no pain playing with the Blade! It has a buttery feel that most modern racquets lack today!!

    What level are these players?

The guy in the gray is a 4.0 and the guy in the black is 3.5.-4.0. The guy in the gray has better technique and footwork. The pushing style will not get you to higher level.

Bicep tendinitis from racquet with high static weight and more head balance

I would also be looking at the strings and tension you are playing with. Playing with poly can cause arm problems and I only use a synthetic string these days. I tried Yonex frames in the past and found them too stiff. The new Wilson Blade line is more arm friendly than most players racquets...

Bicep tendinitis from racquet with high static weight and more head balance

I was playing with the Pro Kennex 7G for a while which has fairly significant swing weight and is extremely headlight. I tried playing around with balance by adding weight to the head but over time the front of my shoulder near the bicep area would get very sore after playing. I recently...

    2019 Wilson Blade

I totally agree! I have been guilty that in the past. These days I have settled with the new Blade 98 16 x 19 v7. It also does take a little while to dial into a new frame especially if you are playing tournaments and competitive match play. I have come to the conclusion many years ago that you...

    Best tennis balls to use?

No, the Dunlop ATP Championship ball which are listed at 60.00 per case. Costco Penn balls are horrible. My friend bought a case recently from there and every can he opens is flat.

    Best tennis balls to use?

I played with Penn Championship which was ball of choice for over 25 years but over the last couple of years their quality control has dipped considerably. The core of the Penn is like a brick and they go dead after about an hour of hitting! I changed over to Dunlop ATP Championship Extra Duty...
