I don't know if the racquet being HH is the issue. I just couldn't hit with the blades. I also had a hard time on serves. Adding leather to the blades should have made it more HL. Give it a demo before you buy it.

I recently played a singles match in our 4.0 USTA league and the guy I'm playing agaisnt would shout, hit the tarp/divider (we played indoor) after his errors. I ended up winning quickly and got off the court.
You just have to take bumper guard off and place lead where you want it. Beware that you wont be able to take the lead off easily if you dont like it. The used racquet might pose a problem due to the tie off grommets being flared/not straight.
