  • Hey, I have a couple questions about PBI and it would be great if you could answer them. Could you tell me anything about the salary and how many hours a week a trainer works? Are there any contracts involved? They're being a bit ambiguous about that. Do you know why they're always looking for new pros? Is it because unsatisfied tennis pros leave the company all the time?
Would be great if you could get back to me!

    Hi,

I have no idea as I've never worked for them. From what I've heard from other coaches, the pay for the first 2 yrs is horrible. You have to pay for food etc for the month they train you, you're only allowed to coach their method so whatever you learned before or are certified in forget it. They are looking for "yes" men.

ok, thanks for your answer. What I understood is that the training program is paid for by them. Other then that I'll try to find out more by talking to ohters. Thanks a lot ;)

thanks guys, would have liked to meet you but am already back in Vienna:) some other time maybe
that´s part of why i´m interested. i think you learn much more if you´re the one doing the drills rather than watching from the sideline.
now all i need is find time to do it, as we´re very busy over the summer
thanks:) the kind of feedback i was hoping for. will go there for sure. if not this year than next year.
    yes, thanks, i know that.
i´m interested in going to spain though for a week or more to see what training is like at a academy there. and i think that´s what you did. while ash conducted courses in the u.k.
Hi balla, I would like to know a little bit more about rpt courses, but don´t think it´s a good idea to talk about that in a thread. would you mind contacting me thru mail? my address is: racketturniere@gmx.at. thanks, treblings
