The most beautiful racquet in the world!

It's actually really a beginners racquet. Pretty light and not particularly sophisticated. It belongs to my wife and I've only used it once. Nice enough, but a little soft and light for me. Ideal for early teens and the little lady! It suits her perfectly - pretty, light and not particularly...

You asked for it buster! This is WAR! Hee Hee... Right, lots of good action on this thread now! Those Yamaha's...WOW! Love 'em. The Caldon is really too much of a Donnay copy to be rated highly, but it looks well made. Jimmy

Right. Every time somebody puts the Green Bard picture up again I'll put the pics of the utterly gorgeous Dunlop Evo again. You've been warned! Jimmy

BEST way to maximize power on 4D 300?

5 - 10 grams at 12o'clock sounds about right if you're happy with stability. Don't bother counterbalancing at the handle. Any more weight and it'll become 'Tour' like.... Jimmy

The most beautiful racquet in the world!

OP here.... ..Not nearly enough pictures being shown! All I'm getting is lists and lists of racquets, most of which I've hardly heard of, never mind know what they look like... Boring! Pick one and put up it's picture! I have to agree though, that new woodies were a delight! Jimmy

Oh, I know....I'm repeating myself... Sorry. That old Kramer Wilson is class! Jimmy

The most beautiful racquet in the world!

This is the question! And very difficult to answer! It's whatever floats your boat. The Evo I started this thread with just blew me away! So much so that I just bought the thing with absolutely no regard as to it actual prowess! Turns out to be a nice, competent, reasonably lightweight...

The most beautiful racquet in the world!

Oh YES! Oh YES! Oh YES! Now that is a lovely looking racquet. Easily the best looking Wilson so far! I really like it! Probably still lacking in some fine details, compared to the Evo (See first post), but the overall effect is superb... Jimmy

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

I've been using the Dunlop AG 500 Tour and have just added 8grams of lead at 2:10. Sweetspot up about 2 - 3 cm and less jarring outside sweetspot. Racquet not noticeably less maneouverable... Jimmy

    Dunlop Aerogel 4D 500 Tour

I have the 500 Tour (Non 4D). Not sure there is a huge difference, but I can certainly comment on the quality. It is built beautifully! Graphics quality is first class and mods are easy and effective. Highly recommended! Jimmy

The most beautiful racquet in the world!

Now that's not a bad looking Wilson. A bit different... The Head Pyramid looks like a big Squash racquet! I actually quite like the shape of the head. Jimmy

The most beautiful racquet in the world!

Welcome to the forum! I'm quite proud that you chose my thread to launch yourself on on Talk Tennis! Shame you don't like the Evo.... You're wrong, of course... It's gorgeous! The combination of Glossy bits, Matt bits, nice graphics, brilliant colours... it's genius! The Wilson is...

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

Quick update. Couple of weeks on and I have been sticking with my excersising. This consists of continuing playing tennis (gently - especially serving) and regular stints on my rowing machine. Whilst rowing I'm concentrating on a full rotation of my shoulder, pulling my shoulder blades back...

The most beautiful racquet in the world!

Sooooo,,,, Can we say that Dunlops are generally pretty well liked, graphically speaking, but that the Green Meanie Prince Graphite is a super horny challenger to my Evo's crown! Keep 'em coming! Jimmy
