For extending the life of the bumper, I thought this guy's idea was quite brilliant.

I'm not a big fan of "widebody" racquets, even if 22mm for the PGII isnt really that thick in today's world, but seeing that i'm blacking-out this racquet it should shave off 1mm each side and bring it down to 20mm.

It's a 97. Not a box beam, but sits perfectly between a POG93 and a PCG100.

Truth be told my plans are to do a black out (sanding down) to get the weight down and the beam thickness from 22 to 20, then customize to my specs. Black racquet, white grip, should be quite the looker.

I'll make sure to put a lively multi in the mains and a syngut in the crosses to get a least a bit of feeling while it does it's bludgeoning. :-)

Not sure if my eyes are playing tricks on me, the Prince Graphite II MP is it box beam? Can anyone comment if it's a "feel" players racket like the POG?

I've found it's more a function of how many are available per model on the bay. Like the Dunlop max 400i, shouldn't be that expensive but they're asking $80+ for a well-used model. I think there was a wave of purchasing that stopped a couple of years ago, almost like it was new players...
