Bill Kid,

For the launch in April, there will be two racquets launching Phantom 100 and Premier 110. There is no
"pro" version that I am aware of at this time. I do know they are working to expand the line in the future.

I fail to see why Prince doesn't launch the Pro version as well, as they don't offer a similar frame in their current EU/US range, esp. after they discontinued the Tour Pro 100 (and the Tour 100 series as well since they share the same mold) ...

sometimes projected sales volumes don't justify the added inventory problems. Specs not all that different from Textreme Tour 100P already in their catalog.

You are right and many said the 100p is an "open tight" pattern.
Anyway many players including me prefer more open pattern.
IMHO, it remains a gap in Prince current offering, especially in comparison with major brands.

The launch is a couple months out. There is currently not enough stock for a sufficient launch and we are waiting until we can get more in stock. We don't want to launch and then frustrate the customers. Thank you guys for your patience! I know it is really tough and we want to make sure it launches successfully.

If TW can talk any sense into Prince, please have them look over the Prince Phantom thread and see if they would get a new type of paint.

The paint used on the initial offering of Phantom is atrociously fragile. It does not speak well for Prince.

It is specific to the US Phantom right now but we be on all new Phantoms going forwards. When the original production runs sell through in Europe and the rest of the world all future production will have the updated paint.

This question is addressed to the TW staff. The present homepage could be more informative and a bit more colorful. Prince has too many nice products to just have so little exposure. A well designed homepage creates excitement and expectation. Intereset will soar, believe me.

Is there any update on the expected release? I know you said late Summer previously which I think many assumed was around the US Open given that rackets are often released around slams. I'm going to remain patient...but am just trying to temper expectations!

First off, we appreciate everyone's patience during this transitional time. Besides the press release that ABG sent out to the industry, there won't be an official announcement on our end. I can tell you that our main goal is to continue to have Prince products in the marketplace and available to consumers as we have had in the past.

As far as the Phantom, we are still planning for a US Open release. We do not have an official launch date yet but are looking at the last week of August. I promise I will update this thread as soon as I know the exact time frame.
