and he does close it out 6-3! Huge win for Miami.
He can't talk politics here. Have you seen his twitter? HAHA!Kirijax should consider coming back. Hurricanes had their best season in a long time thanks to the young talent on the team and will add 3 new guys next year who all have a UTR in the 13.60-13.90 range.

Miami has so much potential. I know an alum in the area who would be great for the job, but I'm far removed from knowing if he'd have any interest to leave his jr. training system he currently runs.head coach Piric stepping down at the end of the season
Miami will now have a chance to go a new direction. Piric did ok over 8 seasons but nothing great.
They can get an upgrade if Radakovich (AD) wants to commit more to tennis. He made fairly cheap and uninspired hires for men’s tennis when at Clemson, so let’s see if he pays any more mind to it as Miami athletic director.
Until class of 2023, no FL American player at 5 star/blue chip level had chosen Miami over the last 10 years. What is surprising is the out of state choices were Ivy’s and Mid-west schools-Big 10 and Notre Dame. One year in the last decade out of 11 FL bc/5 stars 6 chose Ivy’s, 3 Big 10, one USF and I forgot the last. Of course a lot of FL blue chips chose FL-some FSU but they used to be mostly international. Not too long ago USF and UCF were often in top 20 or 25. Fl Atlantic was a pretty good MM too and attracted 5 stars. Miami has a reputation of being stingy with merit $. If a player is a smart 5 star/bc in FL or South, if his parents are pulling full freight, they are going to choose UVA, Duke, UNC over Miami even if it means sitting on bench. Only knew one guy from Southerns who went to Miami but as a transfer from Big10-his parents were both doctors. Seems like Miami would attract players from the elite families in Latin America but I don’t know how many of those play high level tennis and even if they do if they want to play on hard courts. With at least 4-5 good public d1 options in state and lots of good academic options out of state for those who want a change in seasons, Miami has its work cut out to get more top AmericansYeah Piric is a decent coach and would do decently at several places but overall not that right fit for Miami I don’t think. He made the tournament 4 out of 8 years few and were never higher ranked than like #30 for very long.
He has an odd recruiting pipeline for Miami. I feel like Miami should tap into the Florida American talent; promote the academic standards at the university to try and get some of those 5 stars who eye good academic schools and should also be attractive to Latin American players.
