Smash was popular for a while,but I don't think it is that, because honey is shiney.This school bus yellow crap was better than 90% of new strings out there. $2/set first gen trash poly better than Hyper G and Tour Bite put together.

har tru AFBurgundy Yonex stuff as expected didn't last long and was turrible towards the end.
Also broke my first main on the Black Knight, crosses were paper thin so I was quite surprised to see a main go.

OGSM isn’t a multi, it’s a syn gut. Slight difference in that syn guts are a little more firm and tend to be more durable.
I mean how's the playability duration? For a non string breaker how long does it last before going dead/losing it's great playability? I've heard some people say it goes dead and loses tension in 2 hours etc etc
I think Black Knight is his favorite string outside of BBO and Alu
What if you disregard the prices?
V cyclone is better than blast (more pocketing) regardless of price.

Great. Can I lobby the great Jolly to give FireWire boost a shot? Reason being is I think that cross string (currently sold as ghostwire) is the best thing since sliced bread.
I have tried all of those. GhostWire is a softer Revolve with better tension maintenance.
I’m gonna take some heat from the Velocity lovers but I don’t think it’s that great and not as poly-like as people claim. I actually prefer PPS. The v-torque tour is a nice soft string also but it’s shaped and twisted so provides more spin higher launch angle. I actually have a half set left and may try it as mains with GhostWire crosses.
i agree that theres a pretty huge gap between revolve and velocity. and velocity is noticeably more springy than any poly ive ever used.

Probably only 5% (I have no scientific proof) poly performance due to slick coating. Otherwise, not close. Better crosses out there.
I found that as a cross Velocity really killed my power. A Velocity 16 main/Cream 16L cross had more power, but not too much, and a little increase in launch angle. Muted but pleasant.
SPPP is a solid string, imo. No idea what J011y would say but I like it as a consistent performer.
It's traffic cone orange, you can't miss it. Sometimes it's white too but the orange plays better. Like @Doubles said, super consistent but nothing extra.
