Tsitsipas road block: parents in the box, father as primary coach

A Vajda type coach would be perfect for Stef, but unfortunately he will not win multiple slams with his dad as coach. Even though Apostolos may/will stay his main advisor and "dad".

Relaxed I am, but name one player who won one slam, let alone multiple, with his dad as prime coach.

That will be hard.

Aside from that there are multiple reasons for me thinking he needs a fresh face and new prime coach, if he wants to break through and win many big ones. In part Tsitsi is fighting demons that need getting rid off, part of which may be social media.

I can name two: the Williams sisters.

Well, not sure about this one. Maybe a bit more variety in Stef's box is not a bad idea? I don't say he should fire his dad tomorrow but maybe hire another coach to look for some fresh ideas and external opinion?

Patric Mouratoglu is his coach since 2018 (alongside his dad).

I know but he seems more like a part time guy doing some commentary too and sharing his time between a few players including Serena. I don't think he's the right choice.
I bet you, that know all coaches and Tsitsipas inside out knows what is the best for him, cause he hasn’t really come that far w his parents on the team....
