ATP draws so rigged they're known 3 months in advance

That's not how it works.

The way it works is Team8 sends the draws for the Majors between 8-12 months in advance for comments. Comments are reviewed by Team8 which then sends the final draw about 4-6 months prior to the event so the various stakeholders can plan accordingly. The other events have random draws because Team8 couldn't care less about them.

If both reach the final I think obviously Djoker will be the clear favourite. But the match could be interesting. Ahead of the USO final not many were giving chances to the Russian and it went 5 sets and was a really close match

Depends on their respective level, I believe.

Medvedev won't be as immature as he was in the AO 2019. He matured/exploted/peaked in the second half of 2019.

If Djokovic plays so bad as he has been doing post-Wimbledon, Medvedev will win. If Djokovic replicates his AO 2019 level, he will win, even though Medvedev has improved from what we saw in the AO 2019. Medvedev's main improvement is the stamina/resistance. Medvedev got tired in his match agaisnt Djokovic in the AO 2019. It won't happen again. In the USO final, Medvedev proved he never gets tired.

Ultron wins but Djokovic loses if you know what I'm saying. Match will depend on Novak's level, Daniil will never beat Ultron at his best (nor will perhaps anyone ever at AO).

Like both of them. I want Djokovic to break Federer's weeks at No 1 record!

If Djokovic can keep his No .1 ranking despite losing, I won't mind seeing Medvedev win.

Djokovic has already lost his no 1 ranking Sunny bhai!

Otha, very disappointed Aman bhai! But isn't there a chance he can regain it before years end?

THere is the possibility Djokovic might end with having neither of the big 2 records. Otha Omala!

He must usually take them.
He, along with fedr, has twice been a part of a 5-year trend for Big 3 AO exits prior to QFs:

2015: fedr 3R vs Seppi

2016: The Nadal 1R vs Verdasco

2017: Joe Kovic 2R vs Istomin

2018: Joe Kovic R16 vs Chung

2019: fedr R16 vs Tsitsipas

Last time all 3 (plus Murray!) made QFs was the year none of them won it...Wawrinka in 2014.

Trend continues or ends???

I see Medvedev as Ultron lite. if they played, it would either be a very close 3 setter or go 5 sets depending on how high he can elevate his level. It would only help Nadal if Medvedev and Djoko are on the same half with Nadal on the opposite. If that does end up being the draw then it's a sure thing Federer will be in Nadal's half. The tournament director isn't going to put Djoko, Med, and Fed on the same side with Nadal in the other.

But Tiley is a close friend of Federer and Godsick!

Djokovic isn't done winning AO yet. He's 10-1 vs Big 4 there. Medvedev is good, but not "beat Djokovic at AO final" good.

Last two tournament appeared to be preserving the head to head. ;)
Duckovic?

Also consider the dump of Beijing for Tokyo. Methinks Mad Lad lost all incentive to play there when he realized he should have stayed loyal to Tokyo for another chance at The Legend.

Your logic is inescapable if the Mad Lad does play Vienna after winning Moscow.

There's something about the look of Medvedev's forehand that reminds me of the Sampras. It's the way he throws the racquet like if it was a 14oz sledgehammer. I doubt Medvedev is using using such a heavy racquet, but the way he throws it and hits with a bent elbow is Sampras like.

He’s under 13 oz (360 g). Biggest difference between Pete and Med are tighter string pattern and full poly bed consistent with the 2-generation difference.

Swingwise. I see some similarities but the biggest difference is grip.

Clearly not known, otherwise fans would know this will be in the semis.

@DSH says Craig Tiley is close friends with Federer. What good are friends if they don't help you out or at least sway things a little in your direction. Fed will get a favorable draw, that's for sure because it's made by a human. If it was done by a computer and randomized, then that would be a truly fair and objective draw.
