Fed wags his finger all the time...wow. Come on, be fair here.
Anyway, not even that terrible a match from Fed, but expected win by Djokovic, who played well overall. No real areas where he has lacked, this is a low-key but impressive tournament run by him. After set 1 it was clear how the rest was going to play out, but still some entertaining winners by Fed.

Credit to Federer for playing as well as he did despite the injury and not being 100%. He's a true champ and pro. Djokovic was very scrappy in that 1st set but settled down and was striking the ball better in the last two sets. He will have a tough battle in the final and can't afford to start off that way.

Djoko will play better in the finals! He conserved energy and the conditions are cooler in final too. Novak is a massive favourite.

Nadal is 9-6 against him and Federer beat him 6 times, compared to Murray beating him twice. Of course Fedal are his biggest rivals of his career.

I'm no djoker fan, but two things:
a. He's likely including all slams, which is fair
b. From a PR perspective, that speech was perfectly engineered to try and win over some Fed fans before the final. He's almost never that nice to Fed, but he was... and I think he's more than smart enough to be playing the game (and Kudos to him for doing it).

Well, not a surprising result - everything was really stacked against Fed; still he was very close to getting that first set. Well played, well tried, all we can ask for.
In a way I do not mind so much that Fed lost - I really would like Zverev or Thiem to get a slam, but I will never cheer against Roger. So now in the final I can cheer for a NextGen winner! Though Novak will be a big obstacle to overcome for them.

Two to three generations post Nadal & Djokovic have been the absolute worst in the history of tennis. So yes, he may keep on winning until someone from the next gen steps up and starts taking on these two and then all bets are off.
