It;s so sad how they have fallen
you will feel our wrathLot better than they were a few years ago, but yes I expect more from a team where everyone can serve 140+ and is a future ATP top 10
How did the second coming of Jesus (Axel Geller) do?GO CARD. Moving on to the quarterfinals of ITA indoors championship. Next up USC trojans, revenge will be sweet. We found another ATP tour talent in Neel Rajesh, freshman clinches it for the Cardinal.
He lost on purpose to allow Neel Rajesh to clinch the match. Part of a bigger picture to boost freshman confidence......How did the second coming of Jesus (Axel Geller) do?

Poor Cardinal, you're like USC's little brother, I know I know next year tho you'll win it all
Brandon Holt was gone and they still won. Its ok to admit that your favorite isn't a title contender or even the best in their conference. here lets say it together. No NO, this year , Stanford Cardinal 2020 NCAA team champions to be. They figured out USC now, no team can beat the Cardinal 3 times in a row.

Possible I guess. I mean it’s only taken like 2 years so who knows maybe he will win. If it takes him 2 years to figure out how to beat better opponents than it’s not looking like a good time on tour for himHolt playing #1 will be their undoing. Geller actually have figured out Holt now and will beat him into oblivion next time. Geller actually have more problems with that #2 guy Kukierman
look how long Jason jung took to break into top 100. It can be donePossible I guess. I mean it’s only taken like 2 years so who knows maybe he will win. If it takes him 2 years to figure out how to beat better opponents than it’s not looking like a good time on tour for him
Congrats to Trojans. But I do feel really sorry for Brandon Holt. This guy while being one of the very best players in NCAA D1 tennis, he has no hopes of being a ATP tour pro. He just doesn't have the talent. There was so much pressure on him with Tracy Austin being his mom.USC are champions in the National Indoors tourney. Yay.
Brandon Holt will for sure be a decent player on tour. Probably better than all but a handful of current college playersCongrats to Trojans. But I do feel really sorry for Brandon Holt. I definitely don't think he'll be anywhere as good as his mother was on the WTA. He's for sure very talented and a top college player, but he's going to have a tough time in the professional circuit.Congrats to Trojans. But I do feel really sorry for Brandon Holt. Certainly will be a decent player, I'm guessing maxes out at 300, not a good enough athlete to make it an no weapons. Still better then most college guys.Brandon Holt will for sure be a decent player on tour. Probably better than all but a handful of current college players
outside of Klahn, I don't see any other Stanford guys doing that great on the singles tour. Weird considering how so many of them were suppose to be future top 10Certainly will be a decent player, I'm guessing maxes out at 300, not a good enough athlete to make it an no weapons. I'd bet some cash he'll get higher then Geller because Stanford is where tennis players go to die.
His mother won 2 US Opens, was ranked #1 in the World and is in the Hall of Fame so he will never match that--no current or recent college player will. I do think he will give pro tennis a shot so we'll just have to see how he does.I definitely don't think he'll be anywhere as good as his mother was on the WTA. Axel Geller went 0 for 3 at the Indoors, he has no chance of making a living as a pro.
No, he started at Michigan then transferred to UCLA.Did Peter Fleming play there?
Yoo hoo,,, Stanford vs Texas in 20 minutes... can you say Revenge ?????????????????????
Hey hey, this is all part of the bigger plan. They are just pretending now so they pound on unsuspecting teams during outdoor ncaa. I have my sources so that's the truth [emoji6]4-0 Texas. Time to fire Goldstein yet? Is there an NIT that Stanford could compete in this year? Should Stanford dissolve the program and focus their resources on women’s water polo? Many good questions.
Fedace/Nostradamus is going to 'like' your post because he isn't smart enough to realize you're being sarcastic. I saw the match on the Longhorn Network (a channel I didn't even know I had on my sports package) and no one on the Stanford team was injured, I didn't see any 140 mph serves, but what I did see was the better team win for the 2nd time in a couple weeks. I thought Stanford was going to go undefeated this year????? But I agree with mikej, Goldstein is past his sell by date, don't know why Stanford sticks with under-performing coaches for so long--Whitlinger was there too long, same with Goldstein.Hey hey, this is all part of the bigger plan. So I have a bit mixed feelings about it. When you look over last few years Stanford is actually ranking wise no worse if not better than in prior years. They ended 12, 16, 16, 21 so as long as they stay in top 10 it's not too bad.Fedace/Nostradamus is going to 'like' your post because he isn't smart enough to realize you're being sarcastic. Not too bad? Is that what things have come to? I think Dick Gould would have thought 12, 16, 16, 21 and even 8 were bad years. Considering their history (which is getting longer and longer ago every year) settling for 'not too bad' seems a bit sad. Considering their history and resources they should be better, period. So I have a bit mixed feelings about it. I mean it's not like I'm too happy about it, just being realistic. They did not have a _big_ recruiting class last year, this fall there are supposedly 3 blue chip players coming. That should make it a very solid lineup at least on lower courts. And if those incoming players are any good at doubles they should be better next year. This year - I just do not see how they can be better than ~10 ranked team. Not too bad? Is that what things have come to? Yikes, things not going very well for OSU recently, two 4-0 losses (UNC, UGA) and a loss to Stanford in their last three matches - talk about a team that annually looks like they have their pants down whenever they’re forced to play matches outdoors / away from their friendly indoor tennis center
it means Geller beat an Indoor player outdoors. To be honest I feel like Geller has a decent match up with McNally, especially when Mc doesn't play his best like in this match. Geller isn't phenominal but he will hurt players if they dont come playing decently .Also who says McNally is a top 50 guy? i Haven't seen anyone say that.Geller just beat or should I say trounced McNally who is supposed to be top 50 ATP tour talent. Does this mean Geller is top 10 talent ?
Rajesh sealed the win, topping No. 78 James Trotter in the decisive third set, 6-3.
Stanford will be in action this weekend at Pacific Coast Doubles in La Jolla.

noooooo. They barely got past a team that is an indoor specialist team. They need to be able to consistently beat better outdoor top 10 teams first. Losing relatively straightforwardly to both Texas and especially TCU is not great. The only way I'd even give them a dark horse chance at a quarterfinal run in the end of the year tourney would be if they beat USC and UCLA back to back in relatively convincing wins. I just don't see that happening. The current team just isn't consistent enough match to match for that.I see, so that is what happened to Stanford at ITA indoors few weeks ago. so does that mean Stanford will win the NCAA easily since NCAA championships are in outdoor courts ?
Neel Rajesh is the player of the week in Pac-12 after clinching win over Ohio state. Way to go Neel, you are the man, future is bright for this freshman in college and Professional tennis to come.
