If he watched Djokovic's performance in the AO final, I'm afraid he'll still be feeling the effects of his injury.

Agreed, such injuries are not good at his age and he's just delaying the inevitable.

I want him back by Wimbledon, injury or no injury. Sorry Djokovic, but you simply have to play through injury if you have to!

I don't want to see a 40 year old man win Wimbledon.

i think fed did right by skipping the AO.. with all the quarantine issues that happened there and not to mention he probly knew he had 0 chance to win after not playing a year, and also the way djokovic played, no chance of beating him realistically...

By all accounts has been working on an ultra aggressive game with lots of serve volleying.
Never really bothered about 500 events before but should Federer win Dubai this place will be unreal popcorn stuff

Not true. His tear has miraculously healed by the powers of nature. His stamina and endurance have quadrupled and he is ready to take on any challenge.

People like you are hypocrites.....when Fed was 34 you were saying the same about him but Novak should win everything at 34 :rolleyes:

Otha Omega ... I've said repeatedly that I don't believe in these weak era/competition/age theories so I'm surprised that you're attributing claims to me that I never made. Are you confusing me with someone else? Yes I'm a hypocrite if I did say it, but I don't recall saying such things :)
