Custom racket

Hi guys, Im planning to short the lenght of the handle from 27 to something like 26.5 to my racket because I need more manuverability and my swing style is not the long "classic swing style" my swing style is more like hammer the ball fast like medvedev.

Do u guys think is a good idea??

I think it is a bad idea. If you cut off any length the value of your rackets drops. You can do the same thing by moving the butt cap up the racket and it is much easier to restore the racket back to the original specs. All you need to do is hollow out the butt cap so it is a small tube then slide it up the handle.

Yeah, but in order to do that I need to take off the staples right?

You might try putting some tape under the grip just above the butt cap to get the same effect of the butt cap being moved up.
