I'm done with ASICS shoes, looking for input on other shoes with good stability and comfort.

I used GR4 for years but couldn't make it work with subsequent releases, so I switched to NB 996v3 (with Superfeet Blue insoles) and have no issues.

Natural Gut for sale in 2019

In light of that sale, is Wilson NG same as Babolat these days? Or is it Luxilon NG?

Two identical racquets - different feel

I agree with 'similar play' goal, I was just wondering why racquets that have identical specs feel different (difference in play is minimal but noticeable). It may be OCD but my previous racquets were done by Roman as well and I couldn't tell them apart :)

    Thank you, all!

Two identical racquets - different feel

You may be onto something given that the rackets became 'closer' in feel when I removed overgrips. Thank you.

Two identical racquets - different feel

I was afraid to hear that. :(

Two identical racquets - different feel

My first Wilson in about 12 years but Blade played better for me than either Yonex HD or TF40 :(

Two identical racquets - different feel

    >> People told me it is all in my head That's what Roman told me as well :) I can also tell which racket in blind test as well. Interesting thought about grip/overgrip but even those are the same and done by the same person.

Two identical racquets - different feel

Rackets were matched at (and bought from) RP NY, they know what they're doing and have sizeable inventory to pick the rackets from. Same strings/grips/overgrips. And this is not the first time they did it for me either. That's why it's so puzzling.

Two identical racquets - different feel

Hi All, I have an issue that confuses me and I hope someone with more experience will be able to come up with explanation. I've got two matching (customized) Blades V7 that have same weight, swing weight, balance and stiffness (the numbers were double checked) . However, when I hold the...

    Yonex VCORE Pro 97HD... Strings???

I used VS Team/Lux Fluoro at 52/50 (lasted ~6 hours) and 54/52 (2 hours) and like the latter setup better. There's plenty of power and more than enough control. When I hit with a demo racket strung with PTP at mid-range my wrist hurt after that for a couple of days.

Racquette Linguistics -> NTRP rating of "intermediate"/"tweener"/"advanced"/"players racquette"

They will have no chance at handling heavy topspin to their backhand regardless of the racket because they won't be in position to hit that ball in the first place or they wouldn't be 3.5

It's now on the Yonex Website! VCORE Pro EMERALD

VS Team 17/ Lux Fluoro 17 I started with my current setup (leaded up Donnay Platinum) at 52/50 and took it up to 54/52 after the first one broke. If I can resolve my slice problem, next time I'll probably go up another 2lbs.

It's now on the Yonex Website! VCORE Pro EMERALD

I've been hitting with HD for the past couple of weeks, strung with gut/lux hybrid and with about 10g total split up between 9/3 and the handle. I'm a 4.0 with a SW forehand and a one handed backhand. So, far everything have been great, racket feel super comfortable, ground strokes and serves...

Do Volkl pallets on Yonex sticks?

Or try R P N Y in NYC. They do all kind of custom work including custom molds.

Looking for one or two rackets 8/10 or better that someone may have in storage somewhere. Grip size doesn't matter. Thank you.
