    Highest level of tennis

Navratilova '83 season. 86-1. The loss cost her the CYGS, which would have been suiting for her exceptional level of play. 16-0 in finals.

    Does anyone remember this?

People come to see long rallies, no?

    Does anyone remember this?

A few extra seconds of breathing after the 643-shot rally, or didn't the umpire like good tennis?

Djokovic comments on crowds not supporting him

Nice comment from Novak - as always, really :) I wish his fans would stop the Serbia against the world stuff. It's become boring and the martyr game is very unbecoming.

It's weird that Stan defeat Big 3 more times on GS than Murray.

Maybe. I thought he was a little tame both in AO and RG, despite reaching SF and F. He has said since, in interviews, that he had trouble with his knee all winter and spring. It was perhaps right to play through it. I have never felt like he has totally believed in a comeback.

It's weird that Stan defeat Big 3 more times on GS than Murray.

Two times he beat 2 of them; AO14, RG15. Stan had a short, but epic peak 2013-2016, and then he got injured in the spring/ summer of 17 :/ I miss the Stanimal level - great stuff!

I would be hilarious if Novak ends up with 12 Australian opens

They hardly play at all would be more precise.

    Is Thiem ATG material?

Tim may be a late bloomer, like Stannis. But he will win his titles after Big4, as opposed to Stan, who is not considered ATG.

Well, if he wins when playing poorly...

dominic thiem 's 2020 clay season dosen't matter that prediction RG result in 2020

Thiem should grow up and win RG. Needs to clam down on big points, though.

Big 3 Peak for peak, Federer is the best...

I'd rather take 4 hours of beautiful tennis... and simply accept the inevitable choke and prepare for eternity in the grass section with 1HBH, gorgeous slices, Pimm's and strawberries, no shirt ripping. The HC 2HBH option; Jimbo telling stories about how bad ass he was in his youth, crystal...

Where's Querrey, Istomin and Chung when you need them?

“He Is Already The Best Tennis Player In History”- Goran Ivanisevic On Novak Djokovic

It goes in cycles. Last year, no one cared about masters, for instance.

Why does Rio always get ATP500 status on clay despite being weaker than the 250's on hard in the same week?

Yes, HC translates better to grass than to clay, because grass has been slowed down and plays pretty close to HC now.

Why does Rio always get ATP500 status on clay despite being weaker than the 250's on hard in the same week?

Zverev is a poor mover and an overrated server - so grass is not good for him. He is good at rallying with his backhand, though (which he himself rates up there with Novak's btw). Thiem? 2 finals, 2 semifinals and he is great?

    Wawrinka not challenging!

Why does Rio always get ATP500 status on clay despite being weaker than the 250's on hard in the same week?

I believe Federer, Djokovic, Nadal and Murray are considered very good grass players - with 8, 5, 2, 2 wins at Wimbledon. That said, there are too few tournaments on grass. And the M1000s on clay are too clustered.

It was an attempt on humour. Glad you laughed, anyway :D

    Rivalling Wimbledon's greatest tie-break?

At least not in terms of quality. More than half the points were errors. Edit: I see Borg-McEnroe was thrown in, too. Quite different.

Not really, you're an anonymous person behind a picture of someone else with a false name. You might as well be Goran :D

5 this year? Marrakech, Stuttgart, Mallorca, Stockholm. Duck Djokovic in Eastbourne and Wimbledon and try and go for Newport.
