USO and RG 2020 - Rafa and Nole

Scenario - Rafa wins USO2020. Novak wins RG2020. Would you be ok with this, and why not? Sent from my Mi 9T using Tapatalk

Federer concedes tourneys without fans may be coming

Of course you wouldn't. He's the only obstacle in Rafa's path to goathood, so you don't want to see him win more. Sent from my Mi 9T using Tapatalk

Are Big3 greater than Borg and Sampras?

To the guys giving hypothetical GS titles to Borg - He won the maximum number of GS titles he could. He was unable, just not good enough to win more. Deal with it. Mental stability is one of the key factors in achieving greatness. Borg lost it and resigned. He was literally unable to win more...

Djokovic has the best Dropper of all time o_O

Fed has better technique and ball-placement, Novak has better strategy and shot-choice making (deciding when to use drop). Overall, I vote for Fed, but Novak is in my heart. :) Sent from my Mi 9T using Tapatalk

I would be hilarious if Novak ends up with 12 Australian opens

TBH, this record is one of the most amazing in tennis history, Nadal deserves his bragging rights. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

So if Nadal never had an era of his own, does that mean he actually had the toughest competition of the big three?

I agree, Fed was fantastic clay player, and Novak was/is too. They're both clay kings unfortunate enough to constantly fight against clay god. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

So if Nadal never had an era of his own, does that mean he actually had the toughest competition of the big three?

1st of all, this is a great argument, I've never thought of it this way. It makes it very very hard to make another conclusion, so yeah - Nadal (so far) had the toughest competition among big3. Now, there is another important question - "was it toughest for him?". It seems it's the same...

    Novak's 4 in a row

Never won Nadal, though. He is only guy beside Djokovic to win a Grand Slam in OE. They both didn't win Nadal at RG during those streaks. Laver's GS is seen as greatest achievement, but Novak's is not, because Novak didn't win clay god. You can't have it both ways - Grand Slam is greatest...

    Novak's 4 in a row

Do you agree with the other guy that Laver's CYGS is overrated because he didn't win Nadal on RG? Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

    Novak's 4 in a row

Damn bro, your wisdom in unmatched. :) Does Laver have CYGS? I mean, he only beat declining Rosewall. :) Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

    Novak's 4 in a row

Laver's 1969 4 in a row is an underrated achievement for sure but pales in comparison to Fed's 2004-07 run. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

    Novak's 4 in a row

As Fed fans are considered, Laver's CYGS achievement is (at best) equal to Fed's 2004-07 run, probably a little bit smaller. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

    Novak's 4 in a row

    Novak's 4 in a row

This. It's not like nobody was ever close to doing that. Federer in 2005-2007 was close to winning 11 slams in a row, the only thing that stopped him is that he had to face peak Nadal in RG all the time. He never had the luck of facing Rosewall in RG final. This is what Laver fans don't...
  26. itrium84

    Novak's 4 in a row

I mean not really. Federer was a single win away from doing exactly the same thing on 2 different occasions, if Laver had gone through the single obstacle Federer had to go through again and again en route to doing it then maybe, but as he simply benefited from being in peak form for the couple...

    Novak's 4 in a row

Laver won RG 1969 without facing Nadal as Nadal wasn't born yet. Not more impressive than Federer's 3 Slams in a row in 2006 and 2007. We can't consider Laver's CYGS more relevant than Federer's achievement for the alleatory reason of not having to face peak Nadal at RG. Laver is overrated...

    Novak's 4 in a row

Fed before his prime. Nadal not in his clay peak. No real ATG Next Gen chasing Laver. Enter Laver straight 4 slams. Its ok at best. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

    Novak's 4 in a row

Lol, like Laver would have a chance to beat prime Nadal in RG final. So this is what people say here, he was very lucky that he had such weak clay competition during his prime. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

2011-20 Djokovic already the best decade ever?

Novak 2011-20 made historic Grand Slam, historic Golden Masters, highest peak in tennis history (BOAT) - atp/elo points record. All this is worth far far more than 1GS title and few no1weeks. Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk
