Arming the ball. Yet another thread.

I remember the first time I saw a dude swing with a 110 size racquet, trying to hit a 2HBH. Except he swung like a baseball bat and uh...well he didn’t close the racquet head. We couldn’t find the ball.

I’m just so bored in class and I’m considering like banging my head on the wall.

Arming the ball. Yet another thread.

Oh god I’ve tried a 110+ size racquet before.....was sorta fun and then I’m like what the hell? It’s pretty fun to hit with once a while, just the power is crazy.

Arming the ball. Yet another thread.

What powers the flip? I think about a girl stealing my money to buy a handbag, running off with my wings and beer, and I’mma slap that girl to Mars like a boss from a Spanish drama show. then I freeze because it’s a weird image and I only swing with my right arm, swinging to the left cause my...

Two different forehands in this video

Doesn’t look like mid teens...maybe late 10’s or early 20’s? I mean regardless I think the blue shirt guy looked interesting and knew how to sorta drive through and use lower body. The white guy’s swing is interesting cause it’s different. Not effective imo but hey different!

Two different forehands in this video

uh oh....more MTM talk.... but also has anyone else noticed the white dude has a bit of trouble hitting low balls and high balls? His strokes don't change based on height and sometimes he doesn't bend knees for low shots.

BBP Video ... Jolly closed stance FH, iChen manly (sort of) 1hbh

Just ranting that it’s 40 degrees out and it takes motivation to want to practice at night in 30 degree temp.

Didn’t see all yet but I watched the backhand vid. You’re getting inconsistencies of hitting cause shoulders went from turned to less turned towards end. Your “wrist lag” also I think played a part in inconsistencies. Maybe try doing 5 shots DTL and then 5 CC?

Paradigm advice to 3.x players who want to get to 4.0

ya ok, he's improved a ton but when he makes posts claiming he can even win points on the bench or dink a serve to get to 4.0......

    FH lag and flip stuff

You’re going through too many minute stuff with 2HBH. You just gotta take a look at the fact that you may be late cause you do a takeback swing instead of just taking racquet back. The contact looks so improved. And minimal sunny side runny eggs now. I’d do that tip. Really loose arm and...

    Change Grip or Swing?

Swing. I’ll just change how low I drop racquet and swines up more or through more.

Don't quit tennis or the 2HBH :D:D But really I see that you close your racquet face now on contact which is awesome. If you want to work on timing, notice how you do a "C" takeback for the 2HBH on the backswing. You'll see a lot of pros, it's like a pendulum. Take back with shoulder rotation...

BBP Video ... Jolly closed stance FH, iChen manly (sort of) 1hbh

Your open FH and 2HBH look good honestly. I just feel if you were a little younger, your FH would improve a bit just cause you would be able to uncoil and unload the power quickly. I would just keep working on stepping into the shot on 2HBH or being in right position, sometimes you're reaching...

Paradigm advice to 3.x players who want to get to 4.0

True. 3.5 isn’t high level. But not all of us will or can make it to like 4.5 or even 5.0. We just find tennis fun :D

Paradigm advice to 3.x players who want to get to 4.0

If you can actually win siting on bench I’d probably recommend going to another club where thy have actual 3.5 players lol

Also can i say that you thinking Fed is a pusher when he’s more aggressive playstyle is laughable too? Man your tennis iq too high.

Paradigm advice to 3.x players who want to get to 4.0

No different than that people that can hit with pace and place consistently are good players? It’s not that I have a lot to learn. You’re just stuck with the notion and belief now that pushing is what wins these level of tournaments and matches. Then applying that notion to higher level tennis...

Paradigm advice to 3.x players who want to get to 4.0

No. It’s called that they play tennis to have FUN. Not everyone is paying hundreds like you to desperately try and win these tournaments and matches. People care in different amounts on winning matches and improvement. It’s not a hard concept to understand. For you I guess it is....

Paradigm advice to 3.x players who want to get to 4.0

No. The fact that you spent 3 grand and can’t beat the pusher is surprising. Also the fact that you spent 2 grand and think 3.5s hit hard is laughable.

Paradigm advice to 3.x players who want to get to 4.0

Um just like 2 weeks ago you mentioned just pushing stuff in to win? Now you’re saying you don’t spazz? Come on...if you think Fed push slices to win after 2017....you just only remember the slices which he does do a bit and well especially drop shots. But 2017 had a lot of improved BHs. Feds...
