2019 Babolat PA+ to the 2020 Yonex EZone 98+: Power & plowthrough comparision

Michelle, Mark, Troy, or Chris, could you comment and compare the 2019 Babolat PA+ to the 2020 Yonex EZone 98+ in terms of power? Given the same strings, same tension how much less power can one expect from the 2020 Ezone 98+ compared to a 2019 PA+? All four of you were on both playtest. I...

    Babolat Pure Aero 2019

It is such a great frame. Coming from long time with 28" inch Wilson 6.2 Skunks the 27.5 inch APD fit perfectly. I have 6'4 24 year old buddy who uses them. Makes him a beast with the extra plow through you get from an extended frame.

    Kobayashi Maru String Scenario

This a player who broke 1.30mm Hyoer G mains in 12 hours. I don't Babolat Elastocrosses would help on a 1.30mm multi cross compared to YPTA. I have those those two cross strings , Velocity and YPTA at the same price point, $2.50 a cross. I have Babolat EC's but don't feel they would help him...

Clamp not going up to cross, “biting”, help!

First of all, you need to straighten the cross after you pull tension on that cross but before clamping the. What you are actually doing is not fully pulling tension on those crosses. The marks on the strings you is calling ghosting. Most likely you are stringing a multi. Polys don't ghost. You...

The factory looks small from the outside of the building considering what they produce. Then again have been to Japan many times, they use space wisely.

I think you should go back to wearing a cotton t-shirt every set., so you can fully embrace and appreciate the 77 degree Dew Points. ;). I still change my Nike Dry Fit or Athletic DNA shirt every set, along with two Tourna six-inch sweatbands (Tourna Towels) and a new hat. I also bring a...

    Babolat Pure Aero 2019

I am 100% positive every player uses a strung frame to play tennis. [emoji2] 99.9% use over grips where I live due to oppressive humidity. Just hit 3 hours in it. [emoji3525] If you match a frame to reflect a change in strings or a different overgrip, that's great. For me, I am simply not that...

    Racquet purchase stringing delay

Patience is a bigger virtue during Covid. Drive 45 mins to a local store if you can for a frame, shoes, stringing quickly. The local business would appreciate your patronage. Hate to break the news to anyone but it isn't just TW. TW has made the announcement about shipping delays so I was...

Hollow Core and Hollow Core Pro will ruin that black RF 97A look and any game you have. [emoji6] Truly two of the worst strings ever made IMO and others. But like the Cadberry Easter bunny, they weren't around for long. [emoji28]

Wilson Revolve is a slick smooth copoly that has a lot of spin potential. Perhaps you are thinking of NXT or Sensation Plus, as both come in black. https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/reviews/WRV16/WRV16review.html If anyone is looking for a chartreuse /green multi, Wilson Sensation for you.

    Will anyone here admit...

Some stringers are a larger part of the problem. I know two who regularly put poly in 3.0 and 3.5 players frames. Then that poly stays in their frames for 3-6 months. Most players don't get any advice or worse bad advice. Knowing multiple 3.0 women, I can promise you some ask for matching...

    Will anyone here admit...

Hyoer G wasn't meant for 3.0 players and neither was a Blade 98. Of course if hitting lobs and short balls inside the service line if the goal that combo works great for those players

    Babolat Pure Aero 2019

Have that OG and dampener removed.. [emoji6] the only way to properly weigh a frame when matching them is unstrung frame, no over grip and the same replacement grip or no replacement grip at all.

    Soft & control oriented polys

You're using a sharp-edged poly (TB 1.20mm) with a soft multi (Vanquish), so that is literally a hot knife and butter, so not a good combo for string life. If TB isn't hurting you with Vanquish 1.30mm, I would suggest you try TB 1.20 mains with TierOne Ghostwire 1.17mm (18g) or Tourna Black...

    Soft & control oriented polys

Blackzone is a nice soft poly and the price is great. Have you tried Tier One Ghostwire ? Pretty soft also with good tension mx. I have it in 1.22 and 1.27mm and like the 1.27mm with 1.30mm Lux mains.

How do you distinguish your racquets apart?

Oh I think you came up with the nice idea on your own. [emoji6] I am pretty uninspiring [emoji28] For frames with VCT 1.30mm, when the mains stick out of place shot after shot they break soon afterwards. It is the only poly I have found that really tells a player "hey I am close to done...

How do you distinguish your racquets apart?

I am more of a frame hitter than string bed hitter, so I get about 16-18 hours out of VCT 1.30mm [emoji28]
