I have an old Hyperhammer 5.3 midplus with powerholes that I have yet to string and try out. I got it years ago b/c it is supposedly the racquet Henin used and she was one of my favorite players.

What was it about the 100 that made you like it more than the 98 and Tour? I tried serving with the 2nd gen 98 18x20 yesterday. Did not like it compared to my Yonex 95D.

Swing speed on the second serve

Depends. Middle of the first set. Same swing speed as 1st serve. After having won the first 2 sets 6-1, 6-1, and leading 5-0, 40-0 before losing 6-7, and 6-7 the 4th set and now down match point in the 5th set after blowing a 5-0 lead again. 2nd serve swing speed = 1%. Tap it in serve

Which grommets for Head Radical Tour 630 (Zebra) ?

I bought a few of these and they fit perfectly. The total weight of the racquet after adding a leather grip and CAPS grommets is now about 362g. Are there any non-CAPS grommets that fit? Want to try and lighten the racquet a bit. Feels a bit too head-heavy to me now.

Does Dominic Thiem uses retail Pure strike?

My brief hit with my friend’s gen2 18x20 felt good. He added some silicone in the handle and lead in the head so I am not sure of its specs. I have not tried serves or volleys with it yet. Full poly strings. Compared to my RF97 the pure strike felt like it had more power, but maybe that was...

Have you tried the Pure Strike 98 - 18x20? I briefly tried my friend's Pure Strike and it felt pretty good. I think the initial unstrung weight was 305g but he added silicon in the handle and a little bit of lead. Good feel and good amount of spin and power. I'll have to try it again. I'm...

No. Considering it but have to try using it a bit more first. Still using Yonex 95D. Have also been trying to use my RF97 a bit but so far it seems like a NO for it. Good for some things but too many compromises in others.
