i regularly play mixed with 4.5 ladies and enjoy that. The best when we have new man playing at 4.0+ level and they try to 'blast' at woman at the net and she will easy volley those balls for clean winners. Woman at that level are very good doubles players and it's enjoyable game.
My first thing will be visiting JamesCreek TC and try the drills.
Price looks reasonable and I hope they have enough people around 4.0 level to hit with. ALTA and/or USTA teams will be later on. Looking forward to play with new people!
Thanks Spot, I'll contact you when I settled in.
James Creek located only 15 minutes away so it does look very good. Should be good place to start and find hitting partners and may be join teams as well.
The lifetime in Norcross looks great but it's too far away.
Thanks, I'll visit James Creek (it's 6 miles away so it's not bad).
I played 4.0 singles/doubles and 8.0 mixed. Now I can even play for Seniors!
Do subdivision teams looking for 'outside' players ?
up north teams are based out of clubs so it was a little bit different....plus you can play...
Moving to ATL and trying to locate tennis club with outdoor and INDOOR courts around my new home in Suwanee.
My subdivision doesn't have tennis courts so I'll be looking for a club to join to find new partners and potentially join ALTA and USTA teams.
Appreciate your advise.
