Just wondering , as I went through some of my inventory, I have so much, I don't even know all that I have.
I came across a set from Wilson marked DC621. I know it is a number of years old.
Just wondering if anyone knows just what this string is?
I was stringing 4 racquets last night after work, and was using PSGD from reel for all 4 of them.
Reel was about 2/3 to end, and string would no longer unwind from reel. Had to unloop from under each revolution around , was evidently not loaded up in reel properly from manufacturer. Added about...
On one of the big auction sites someone is selling a Serrano machine listed in excellent condition. What he does not say is parts are missing, no weights, no long bars for main clamps, and the 4 clamps missing, and parts have been long since discontinued from tm a long long time ago.
I know as I...
I do string my share of natural gut.
It's funny that a % of the gut hitters want to use what I use.
I went from VS to Pacific, to Wilson , to now hit with Luxilon and Klip uncoated, and sometimes regular coated.
Presently have 48 sets in inventory.
I have a lot of the older Wilson as when I hit...
I see there is a new gimmick to help weave strings.
Looks like it is based on @Irvin idea of using a string to pull cross strings through, except this looks like you can pull one of 20 guide strings across mains to weave cross strings and item is a one way ticket, as once used , that's it, and...
My last racquet strung for this year was my own.
A Head Radical 18x19 racquet strung with Luxilon gut 63 lbs. Fortunately I ordered a few sets when the big sale was going on.
Strung a lot of racquets this year and ended with my own.
A player gave me a string to string his racquet last week.
The clear package says Wilson Prototype String WC8212
I was wondering if anyone here would know just what this string is?
A yellow colored string with a twist wrapping around it.
Looks like a synthetic gut.
I gave him my usual talk...
Had a load spreader snap while stringing. Made one large bang of a noise!
I typically use them on racquets that have a convex inner surface as the 12 o'clock billiard holds better without slipping and it spreads forces over a larger area. You would think an item as such being a small piece of...
Playing last week and opponents ball hits ball on my side that was just inside the service line, and after the ball in play hits that ball, it then goes back into the air and lands out of bounds.
Here is the thing, the ball finally touches the surface for 1st time out of bounds as it originally...
To TW: I have hit with Asics Gel Challenger 6 and Gel Challenger 8 shoes size 12 for a good # of years that came from TW. Now I see that the Gel challenger 10 says to order a half size smaller, this was never listed for the older challengers, but is that a half size smaller in comparison to...
I have been using Asics gel challengers for a number of years now.
The latest ones for sale now are the challenger 10.
The challenger 10 says to order 1/2 size smaller as they run big.
Are they comparing that size to the old challengers or to the rest of the Asics line up as I would like to get...
A few years back I purchased a flair it tool to flare grommets. I worked pretty well especially in those new grommets that have a tendency to come out when stringing a new set for 1st time. A couple years back someone borrowed it and I never did get it back.
Question is, does anyone here know...
I was wondering if TW will be selling their discounted Holiday Gift Cards like TW did in past years, as they typically go on sale about this time of year. I have not seen them go on sale yet, and I do not want to mis it if TW has them for sale again.
