    Nadal News 2.0

The biggest difference is that he now knows exactly how much time he has between points and uses the clock to his advantage. He can play fast if he's in rhythm or take the whole 25 secs if he needs it. Earlier he had to keep guessing and you can never be accurate with that. So he used to rush...

With Carlos Moya around, Rafa doesn't even need a hitting partner lol. Moya is still in great shape.

Well that applies to Federer vs Tsitsipas too. Federer has played in the day session twice in a row, he is getting the night session 100% especially against a young and upcoming player like Tsitsipas.

As soon as Verdasco choked and double faulted on MP I knew it was over for him. He has lost so many matches like this.

    Laver Cup, exhibition or not?

The only thing I have watched in the two editions of Laver Cup is the Fedal doubles. So yeah it's an exhibition as far as I am concerned.

Djokovic is actually closer to Nadal than Nadal is to Federer

TMF would. The guy is obsessed.

2018 US Open F - JM Del Potro (3) vs Novak Djokovic (6)

Becker turned around his career making him more aggressive and clutch. His serve also improved immensely under Becker. I know things didn't go well towards the end but Becker's contribution to Djokovic's career is immense.

2018 US Open F - JM Del Potro (3) vs Novak Djokovic (6)

I am always amazed by his clutchness. That marathon 3-4 game in the second set sealed the match IMO. If he had lost the second set it would have been a tough match.

2018 US Open F - JM Del Potro (3) vs Novak Djokovic (6)

Congratulations to Djokovic fans, especially @Hitman @NoleFam It must have been quite a journey in the last few months from Cecchinato to #14.

Djokovic is actually closer to Nadal than Nadal is to Federer

No problem if Djokovic overtakes Rafa. I would much rather see him as GOAT than Federer. Unlike you I won't lose my sleep over it lol. You should be more concerned about Djokovic eventually eclipsing Federer. Yes he is 6 slams away but with the level of young pretenders it's not out of his...

RAFA & Uncle Toni BUSTED for cheating by Serena's coach

Were you sitting behind Toni in the 2008 Wimbledon final? If not where did you get this info from? I don't remember seeing anything like this on TV. Can you give us your source?

RAFA & Uncle Toni BUSTED for cheating by Serena's coach

lol Federer's friend Wawrinka exposed her that she does it routinely.

    Serena Williams

No male player who's reached a GS final in the last 15 years that I have been following the game would behave the way Serena did. Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Murray, Wawrinka, Del Potro, Ferrer, Berdych, Safin, Hewitt, Roddick, Cilic, Agassi, Soderling you take anyone. Forget male players, I would...

    Serena Williams

Yeah I was expecting her to get nervous at 5-4. It's tough to serve for your first GS title in the best of scenarios, here it was doubly difficult for what had happened before that, the crowd was also fully involved in it. Impressive performance under immense pressure.

    Serena Williams

She will be 37 in just a few days though.

    Serena Williams

Osaca was up a break at 4-3 and needed two service holds to win it. She didn't get tight while serving for it at 5-4. Nobody knows for sure but from the way she served it out, she most likely would have won anyway.

Toni is Nad's master plan! ;)

RAFA & Uncle Toni BUSTED for cheating by Serena's coach

This is much worse FT. There's no code violation because there's no such rule, Federer found a loophole and used it to his advantage. And no, Toni didn't coach on "every single point".

RAFA & Uncle Toni BUSTED for cheating by Serena's coach

Federer gets his wife to heckle opponents. She was exposed by Wawrinka first, she again got caught on cam here.

    Serena Williams

What? Every sport has different tolerance limit. In hockey you can smack your opponent in the face and get just 2 mins penalty, try that in tennis and you will be defaulted.
  21. Z

    Serena Williams

It's not his job to calm players down. He's not a shrink. I can accept a teenager acting like that but not a grown up. She was constantly bullying the umpire after that coaching code violation.
  22. Z

    Serena Williams

Why should he have done that? She's a 37 year old grown woman. She should have known better. The way she reacted to the coaching violation was completely unacceptable. And there's no such thing as coaching violation for just the coach, not the player. There's no way for the umpire to know if the...

2018 US Open SF - Rafael Nadal (1) vs JM Del Potro (3)

The only good thing is that Nadal didn't empty Del Potro's tank before the final. We all Del Potro fans on Sunday.

Are USO titles won with Super Saturday little higher in value ?

3/5 finals with Super Saturday helped someone in his physical prime against old Agassi, baby Nole and baby Murray. They should have less value than current titles.

Roger Federer:"At some point I was just happy the match was over, I guess."

8 retirements in his entire career. While Federer has been exceptional, Nadal's mid match retirements are blown out of proportion. I don't have the numbers right now but Nadal's (mid match retirements/matches played) stat would be one of the smallest ever. If I recall correctly even Sampras had...

    Nadal News 2.0

Don't forget the narrative that he hadn't played a top 20 player since 2013 lol. They won't tell you that he didn't play at all in 2014, lost in R3/R4 in 2015 and 2016. So it's only just one year 2017 and even then he beat Del Potro who for all intent and purposes was a top 5 player despite his...
